July 15, 2013, 2AM: Played 3 hours at Bovada
$3 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (5th out of 237 Players)

Ughh.  I was short when I reached the final table.  After doubling up and having enough to play with I dominated the final table.  Everyone was way too tight.  Ran my 40k to 220k w/o really putting much at risk.  I was chip leader when the following hand came up.

Me 220k
Player 1 195k
Player 2 130k
Player 3 70k
Player 4 30k

3500-7000 blinds

Player 1 raises to 14k.  I 3bet to 37k with AKo.  He ships for the 195k.  I realize in a vacuum this is a super easy call.  But this guy had played very tight and not played a big pot preflop for the entire final table.  Also, I was likely going to be able to continue stealing blinds/antes from the rest of the table.  I think in this particular situation if I think he shoves AJ or AQ it is an easy call...if I think he doesn't than it could actually be a fold.

So I call.  He has 10 10 and he holds.  If I manage to win that flip, I think I am a pretty big favorite to AT LEAST get heads up for a $100+.  Still looking for that first win 77 tournaments in.

Update...... Never mind.  No way to fold that even if I think I can run the table over.  86k dead money in the pot...I have to call 158k more to win 402k.  Silly me for even thinking about it.  Ran good with 2 tables left...shame I couldn't win one more flip.
