slump
looking at my log lately and trying to figure out where i'm going wrong. i think i've loosened my starting hand requirements a little too much having been luckily rewarded by some questionable plays. i know I've also had a handful of instances where i was eager to get my money in with the best hand too early in the hand only to be drawn out on. i need to start being more mathematical and only betting enough to have them make a mistake by calling and if i get drawn out on then i at least have the opportunity to fold. i guess long term i'd come ahead with the strategy of getting it in while i'm ahead, but i don't think my bankroll can take it. my strategy for the next few sessions is to tighten back up. i don't think i have the live hand history and experience to be playing as loose as i have been.

full tilt poker
well I my grinding has finally been rewarded, after being stuck 500 and having nothing left of it in the middle of last month I got my affiliate back and have managed to finally get winner today. I took such sick disgusting beats last month, when I finally lost the last of it I sent a scathing email to support bitching about how rigged their site is. Now this month I haven't run into the sick hands that force me to lose money anywhere near as much. Since I view this as just kinda thinking out loud I have to wonder if there is some way they manipulate accounts and such. I read a couple other people logging on here about the same type of bullshit that I have been whining about for a while, so I know it's not just me that thinks this stuff. I guess it's nice to be winner, but one has to wonder if it really has much to do with one's play or if the site just says well we better not piss this person off too bad. I mentioned in my last log I try to make player notes on everyone, when I do that I especially log ridiculous beats and if they happen to the same person I just stop playing with them, way too easy to have some rigged BS going on that site.

I DID IT!!!!
I put a beat on someone, although it isn't THAT gross, but the way I did it was kinda gross. I have AA68 one suit, someone raises and we get 4 callers, I was on the button, but very loose game so didn't try to isolate. flop comes down K 5 7 rainbow, check to guy in cutoff who bets like 3 bucks at a 10 buck pot, so I raise it up putting him on something I can ram him off of, he comes back over for just a couple more and I call him. of course he has the KK. I type in nh instantly and it peels off diamond diamond giving me the nut flush, so sick but in a good way one time!

my donkey playing
I think my major problem was finding the limit I am comfortable with. my bankroll can't handle too big and my ability to give a crap about the money at stake can't handle too little. at the level I have been playing it's been working out pretty well lately, finally logged a few nice wins and building up affiliate very quickly so maybe this will get me going for a while!

LOL, it's the same hand but I lose either way
earlier I said I took the beat when I was typing the first one. this time it's reversed, there I flop wrap with A 2 4 on the 3 5 flop and turn the 2 and the guy had QQ and rivered quads.
this time I have KK flop is K 3 5, same exact situation. I think it's half the reason I called, of course I find a brick 8 to lose over 20 bucks with my top set.
whichever way I play it I am going to lose, it's an inevitability.

let me get this one in fresh on my mind
typical lovely crappy hand for me that I can't avoid.
I am in bb with garbage...3789, no raise so of course I flop the nuts 7 10 J, I pot it under the gun and get a button caller. flop was rainbow, turn is a blank but puts two diamonds up which I have 2 of, I bet little more than half and get min raised, which commits me so I go. I get the caller, he has nothing other than 3 diamonds with the nut draw...oh yeah.
while I was typing this up, I take the awesome hand where I turn the nut str. vs. top set, I bet he raises me some sick amount and hits quads on the river. can I ever hold up once? honestly this is re fuckin diculous.

I am playing bad, so maybe I deserve it...but I have trash on button...3 4 6 Q, I limp, one of blinds raise and we see the 3 3 6 flop, he pots it I call, turn 9 he pots it I go all in for like 20 more, he calls...AKKQ with a flush draw...K on river. nice hand sir!

AGAIN!!!!!!!!!
wow this is unreal. my favorite hand to bitch about happens again.
same table as the last hand with the flush two pair.
I have 5 8 8 J in bb, button raises it I call. flop is 8 7 6, I check he pots I call, turn 5, I check he checks. river is the 7, I know I needn't say anymore here. I bet some goofy amount, he of course raises, I pot he goes all in and I walk around the room cussing. This site is rigged. Flat out totally bogus.
