October 31, 2006, 6PM: Played 46 minutes, Lost $20.00 at Absolute Poker
$20 Buy-In Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Tournament (38th out of 86 Players)

Tough tourney as usual for me, I tend to go all crazy with a monster, which to me is like every time I have a great starting hand and nail the flop.  So when I do eventually miss I bust myself and then complain like a loser and wonder why.

Like a silly person I played black jack, this could get very dangerous quickly, I should just remove the file from the program.

$25 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (22nd out of 202 Players)

Squeezed into the money.  Actually powered my way into the money.  Sick of folding my way in to these agros with chips.  I want to be the agro with chips.

October 28, 2006, 10AM: Played 1 hour, 20 minutes, Lost $120.00 at Absolute Poker
$30 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (26th out of 122 Players)

Pay out 18 spots, I could have squeeked into the money to have a small gain.

Only 8 players til the money, I'm in the cutoff with JJ and make a moderate raise. The BB raises back about 5K leaving me 10K in chips, which is still a decent amount.  I know he will push all in on the flop regardless of what comes so I have to make my decision now, will I muck the hand and continue to play or will I take my chances with JJ against a big blind re-raise from a late position raiser? Seems to me like this raise back play against late position players is becoming more and more common in tourneys, especially later in the game.
I decide to roll with my ghetto Jacks and see flop of 228, he bets all in I call.  He has KK and I don't improve.  What can i do? Should have I folded pre? but he can only have 3 hands to beat me, QQ, KK or AA.

Seems like I always get into these situations late in tourneys and can never make the right decisoin, when I do they draw out anyways, lol.

$2/4 Omaha Hi-Lo

I just can't win at this game.  I think the rake is too high since I am playing a low limit but again, I'm losing 20 big bets.

October 25, 2006, 12PM: Played 23 minutes, Lost $26.00 at Full Tilt
$26 Buy-In Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Tournament (146th out of 174 Players)

These guys call everything pre, 99Q6 calls my pot bet pre, me A3QQ, flop 927, i lose.  Etc, dont want to go into it.

Need to change strategy early in this style tourney.  Just sit back call pre and value bet hands only.
