****oops, accidentally listed this as a Full-Tilt session**** - CHANGED

This session was awesome. After a couple of runs on Full-Tilt in recent days I decided to hit the live cash game. I was up 2-1/2 racks when I was dealt a J10s in late position. 5 players before me had maxed out the bet before I had a chance to do anything so I was thinking that my hand was in trouble. But I felt like gambling so I said screw it... The flop comes 7c8s9s. Again the pot is maxed out before it reaches me at which time I'm confused. Does someone have the nut straight/flush draw or were they betting their pocket pairs/two-pair??? So I'm going along for the ride when an As hits the board. At this point I'm pissed that another spade hit the turn because my nut straight was looking more promising. The sb and bb check, third position bets, 4th folds, and I re-raise. The sb and bb and player in 4th position fold (now I'm curious why in the F they were betting the way they did in the first place...) and the player in 3rd position re-raises, etc., etc. The only cards that can hurt me is the KQs on the river. The river comes an A which pairs the board. The player in 3rd position bets and I raise, etc., etc. Well, (pause), the player in 3rd position flips his quads over (i.e., bullets in the hole). I'm pissed all to hell but what can I say or do but be pissed.

I get up and grab a coffee when I make the decision to break this guy down. I didn't care how much I lost to the others as long as he went broke!! Oh yes, please don't try this at home, unless you're DeiYuo, because he plays like a freak anyways...

After losing nearly all my winnings thus far (roughly 2-1/2 racks) I sit back down after venting a bit. I started to play every hand and would limp in pre-flop, after the flop, turn, and river and would purposely fold whenever someone would bet. Again, my goal was to trap this asshole and the only way I could accomlish that was to play weak.

In 45-minutes I had gotten the reputation of folding any hand to an over-bet. Like the hand which crippled me, I was dealt bullets in late position. Again everyone was raising and re-raising pre-flop when an 8h9s10s is flopped. 1st and 2nd position check, 3rd position bets, 4th and 5th fold, 6th calls, 7th and 8th call, and I re-raise. 1st and 2nd position folds, 3rd caps it and everyone calls.

The turn comes an As, 3rd position bets, and to my suprise 6th, 7th, and 8th call, I re-raise, 3rd position caps it once again and the stubborn bastards in 6th-8th call. Because I played like a fairy folding to everything for 45-minutes am suprised that nobody pays notice that I'm in the pot... (oh well, screw them). The river comes another A giving me the quad aces. 3rd position bets, 6th-8th call and I re-raise, eventually the pot gets capped once again. The sac of shit that killed my hand earlier almost had the exact same hand I had and vice-versa. The other three players had lower straights and flushes and the player in 3rd position was so pissed he started to question my calling and re-raising with the aces knowing that they were betting with better hands. I simply stated, "you got me there, I guess I played like an ass and won the pot!" Now I had my racks back when the player in 3rd position started to bet and raise everything. Within 2 hours I was up 6 racks, he went bust, and the other players were left wondering what the hell happened to their chippies.

Moral of the story? Pay backs are a bitch!!!

I enjoy these heads up style tournaments. Gives practice in those rare occasions where I make it that far.
