$20 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 20 Players)
played well, had some no brainer hands, KK and AA at the right times, had some nice all ins when there were 5 players left 3 of which including myself even stacked that took down significant pre flop pots. i think thats what set me up for the win. heads up with a newbie, bossed him around then went all in with JJ and won... nice to have the high pocket pairs when it matters and not have them cracked! i did run the game terribly though, somewhat embarrassing how disorganized it was. my bad. andrew and jeremy both played, i have zero read on either of them

$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em
got my ass handed to me... didn't win any big pots... made a mistake and didn't raise my AQ preflop and this fat bastard has K5 and ends up winning, don't remember what he had but chances are he wouldn't have been in the pot if i raised. then worked up my rebuy up to where i was only down 140, then this regular Andrew Scott shows up and i get all in preflop TT v. his AK, he wins the coin flip and i'm stuck very short stack and fighting for dignity. i think i should start a new rule and only do 1 buy in and quit if i lose it.

$7 Buy-In Texas Hold'em Tournament (7th out of 10 Players)
BPC Opener Tournament
Doubled up through Josh on the very first hand of the tourney (had JJ)...played well, bet hard on good hands, had the chip lead through the first hour of play.
Didn't seem to catch many good pockets as blinds increased...made a check-raise play vs Luke, and he called me with a flush/straight draw, and caught his straight on the turn. At that point, i was down to about 1000 in chips, got AJ next hand and pushed all-in. Paul had pocket 2s, and even though i caught an A on the flop, he caught his set.
Played fairly well, but i needed to push harder to win some blinds/antes even though i wasn't getting dealt much. I am confident that next game will be better.

was up another 15 but kinda donked off toward the end. was a battle at the beginning was between even and stuck 20 for a couple hours, then I finally got ahead with a sick hand, I have AA35 with one nut suit, it's raised pre and I limp another guy repots it and the original raiser calls, I come over the top hoping to take down the couple dead bucks but the 2nd raiser calls. flop is 10 5 2 rainbow which I figure is safe enough so I pot it and get insta raised, most of his money was my bet so i called hoping not to see the 10 10 Q A he rolled over, turn 8 and the river the miracle 4 for the wheel. I usually don't hit the sick ones seems like so it was kinda fun for once.

had two lovely hands this session and still came out winner...first was my usual, flop top set 10 9 3, turn 3, as per jesse's advice I play it hard after bet into, he of course has a couple case 3's for me. 2nd one is a real peach, I wake up with one of my favorite type hands... 89 spades 10 J hearts and min raise it under the gun, get a couple callers, flop is 5 6 7 with two spades, guy pots it, I min raise it, he comes over the top, he is basically all in so I type in as I raise that i am probably freerolling him, he shows A 2 diamonds and 3 4 spades for open ended str. flush draw, needless to say I am pretty bitter about the 2 of spades on that river.
obviously I had a few good hands to have a winning session with those two that both cost me the maximum, probably end up winning another 20 or so if those hands don't work out like they did. that set over set is my nemesis on full tilt.

$5 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (5th out of 9 Players)
Best starting hand was 2's, first position, 25/50 blinds, still 9 plyrs w/no short stacks. Preflop betting had been aggressive. Lots of raises and reraises. Wanted to limp in, but didn't want to play the hand for $150 and figured that's what it would cost me by the time preflop betting was done. Mucked hand, so of course it ended up 4 players in the hand with no preflop raise. Flop was 2,2, something. Aggressive betting throughout the hand. 3 of the 4 stayed in w/pot of approx $1200. Didn't even see what won ... too busy being pissed.

$1/2 Texas Hold'em
bought in for $100 and burned through it in about 2 hours. Key hand: I pick up 9-9 on the button and raise to $7. I got two limpers. Flop is 8 high with 2 diamonds. Checked around to me. I get $12, called by small blind, and raised to $24 by the other limper. I'm putting him on A-8. I reraise all in for another $47 and get insta-called by the small blind. The other guy thinks about it, and moves all in, the small blind calls. I'm way behind. Small blind shows 7-10 diamonds, the other guy flopped a set of 4's. The turns a brick. I have one out...the nine of spades. The river: Nine of diamonds, making the small blinds weak flush, beating both our sets. Sick. Felt drained and went home grumpy.

$0.10 Pot-Limit Omaha
it's only .02/.05 but I had a crazy hand happen, I started the hand with like 8 bucks, it's raised pre to like .25, I am in bb with 4458 double suited, 4 way action so I call it, flop comes down 2 3 6 with 2 spades, I don't wanna fuck with the draws so I pot it for a buck, next guy pots it to 3, next guy goes all in for 4 something next guy all in for like 8, hmmm, I guess I have to call with the nuts. 2 have sets on has AA with nut spades and one of sets also had spades, so I am liking it, the turn is an A so there are basically no board pair cards left, river brick 10 and I collect a 27 buck pot in a .05 cent blind game. 540 big blinds is probably a decent sized pot!
I seemed to do way better playing 4 tables at once at smaller limit than 2 at a higher, I think it's just a boredom issue with such small limits, the more tables lead to me dumping more trash.

$0.05/0.10 Omaha
hooray a winning session on full tilt. was pretty much a donkey hand that got me most of it...I have AA29 double suited and I prefer to limp with such hands to avoid getting my hand labelled, someone else preflop potted it and after two other callers I considered trying to isolate but I just smooth called. the flop was A 8 9 with two clubs (I was diamonds and spades) so I went ahead and made a pot sized bet assuming every card killed me other than the one that was the turn...9! so I have the mortals. I got one caller and am hoping he has some case cards, the river comes a blank J to which the guy insta pots it into me, so I figure screw it, no point value betting and I push it all in for like 8 bucks to which he calls and mucks. I look and he flopped a wrap and somehow paid me off with the 2nd nut straight on the river, thanks dork!

May 11, 2009, 11AM: Lost $3.00 at Fulltilt Poker
$3 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (71st out of 90 Players)
not to far into the tournament, i get AK. flop is 2 A K so i pair both of them. first to act bets 810, i call. number 3 goes all-in. first guy calls, i call. guy one has 34, and 3 has A Q. river is a 5 to give the first guy a straight to knock me out.
I am getting sick of playing on fulltilt. when i have the better hand, i expect to lose because my opponents catch cards on the river or get runner runners to beat me. . . . ALL THE TIME! Is it like that on all the other online websites?
It just makes me sick.
