March 22, 2014, 12PM: Played 5 hours, Lost $240.00 at Caesars
$200 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (50th out of 150 Players)

Did quite well in this tournament. It seemed to be full of locals and semi-pros. They all seemed to know each other and have seen each other at the various cardrooms, taking money from tourists like me. There was also the douchebag "bro" who gave me a good tip about betting halftime lines in basketball.

I got a pretty healthy stack going into the second break, and the first hand out of the second break I pick up 99 and double up someone with JJ. It was only about a quarter of my stack, so I'm not sure it was a bad play. Strangely, my dad lost his whole stack with the same hand, except he had JJ, and lost to 99.

Later on, with a slightly-below-average stack, I fell in love a little with AKh, and lost to AQo. Flop was AQX, and the guy just let me put myself all-in. Maybe could have avoided that one.

December 10, 2014, 12PM: Played 2 hours, Lost $25.00 at Danny's Retarded Game
$0.50 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

I lost its been a while since I didn't cash out , I was down to $5 and made a run up to $120 then ran into Wedo and his unstoppable run , he hit straits and flushes chasing river cards , I lost with rockets three times to Wedo's bullshit chasing ass , he called everything I couldn't get him to fold , All in didn't even do it , I doubled him up five or six times I hate sloppy players chasers without skills who catch lucky over and over and think they are great , truth is keep it up and you will be felted

September 8, 2014, 7PM: Played 1 hour, 45 minutes, Made $13.36 at Carbon Poker
$4.95 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (2nd out of 10 Players)

First game in awhile. Got way up early on and rode that until we were heads up. Made very few errors in the beginning. Knocked out 3 of the 9. Went into heads up about a 2:1 in chips. Lost a big all in with AQ os against KK. Won a big all in to put me back on top when I pushed in with AK s with an A on the flop. Got called by A2 os and rode it out. Lost on a bad read and called a pot raise on the flop and called his all in. I had 88 and he had K9 and flopped another K. Game ended on my K4 os vs. 6-10 os. I bet pot when I flopped top pair and he called with bottom then hit his second pair on the turn.

July 18, 2014, 1AM: Played 2 hours, Made $48.00 at Danny's Retarded Game
$0.25/0.50 Dealer's Choice

Stupid games dealers choice, Running the FTR twice, and then he plays five card Omaha that he calls Montana, if i would had know we were going to Danny's I woukd had stayed home, he doesnt mind making big bets and bad bluffs but with running the FTR twice its near impossible to felt him or anyone, second chances and bad play keep the loosers in the hands to see the river, I never scooped all night, thats how bad a game he holds at Danny's place. Hi/Lo 5 Card Pot limit Omaha and run it twice, 8 handed. Plus Danny cheats, bottom dealing and switching hole cards for discards. I will not be doing that again

December 16, 2012, 8AM: Played 3 hours at The Gardens
$2/4 Texas Hold'em

Well tonight was pretty eventful.

1st buy in

AA vs KT
1)Complete donk opens to $10, I raise out of the SB with AA to $27 ($100 total), donk calls
:::Flop A 6 4 rainbow:::
2)I check hoping to check raise, she checks back
:::Turn is a queen.. rainbow board A 6 4 Q:::
3)I check one more time convinced she'll bluff at it, nope, check back.
:::River A 6 4 Q J:::
4)I bet out $35 fiending for a call, she insta jams her stack and I snapped called. Not in a million years could I put her on raising with KT UTG..

How the hand should've played out. Well the pre flop raise and check raise attempt on the flop were perfectly okay with me. The turn is where I absolutely have to put in a bet, to get value from a weak ace, a possible queen, pocket pair, or a draw like she had. Even if I bet out the turn and she called, I'd rather of loss that way. Yes, I'm aware of how poorly that hand played out. But it was a lesson I had to learn the hard way.

Other hands:

JJ called an all in vs womans AQ..loss

AQ all in preflop vs K2 & AJ..loss

Eh aside from the AA hand being played horrific, I played pretty good.. However I felt like I was still thinking about that AA hand for quite some time. I need to let my bad plays go.

December 13, 2012, 10AM: Played 3 hours at The Gardens
$2/4 Texas Hold'em

Played one hand bad..

Had AQ mid position raised to 10, 2 callers, people who had position on me.

Flop A 5 7

I had a nut case behind me so I planned on check raising all in, he was firing everything.
Well my plan back fired. Both players ended up checking back. (Pot:$30)

Turn came a blank. A 5 7 2.. I bet $25, the wacko called.

River came a 6.. No flush out there that was apparent, I planned on check calling a bluff, but he bet $55 and I snap called to see his 76..

Now the hand should've played by me bettin the flop and just taking the pot right there..  The donk probably would've called flop and fold to my all in on turn.

Eh it was a valuable lesson I learned.

Other buy in lost $75 preflop w/ J J to K10, against a maniac.. And I want those calls.

Other than that.. I was fairly card dead..

December 9, 2012, 9AM: Played 2 hours, 10 minutes at The Gardens
$2/4 Texas Hold'em

Eh pretty short session.

Had a tricky scenario..

Had AA 3bet someone pre flop to 35ish.. I have a little over a hundred left and was covered.. I 3bet out of the blinds as well.
Flop 567 all diamonds.. The person I was playing against was fairly conservative.. I ended up betting 35-45 on the flop hoping to take it down (since I didn't have a diamond).. He ended up calling, the turn was an 8 completing a one card straight. I ended up just throwing in the towel.. Sure enough he bet 80 and showed me a set of 88s.
I feel like the only correct play there is to jam all in on the flop, no other play.. What am I hoping to turn? A diamond? I feel like most players have to respect an over pair there.

December 8, 2012, 8PM: Played 5 hours, 40 minutes at The Gardens
$2/4 Texas Hold'em

Played really well. There were a few spots where I should've stolen the blinds. Or where I should've isolated the limpers. I came up a lot and that might've stopped my aggroness. I was also really satisfied with how much I was coming up, reading people wasn't that much of a priority and that's a big no no. I need to continue to play my hands a bit slower and not worry about getting them getting cracked.

I'm also slowly but surely learning how to play back at good regs or conservative players. I'm beginning to double barrel the turn not giving them pot odds to play any more.. And if they call or raise I throw in the towel.

September 25, 2011, 8PM: Played 1 hour, Lost $24.00 at The Village
$2/4 Texas Hold'em

Played in a Casino for the first time in about 2-3 months. I decided to go last minute on a Sunday evening, thinking it would be poppin', but I was completely wrong. I didn't make it onto the main game after an hour of being there, and I decided to call it quits once it was 6-handed.

I learned a lot just off that one hour session. I was reminded on how bad people are in live-play. I witnessed a lot of crazy moves/action. I only saw one decent player at my table. Any way it was nice to finally get my foot back in the door.
