$4/8
Just playing tight. Won most of $$ in the omaha8 game. It was a dealers choice game and they play loose.

Donkey game, short and boring. At least I paid for food and a drink.

$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em
Just playing like a rock in a wild ass game. These donkeys are stacking off with any two.
$300 pot limit entices loose action.
Pretty much lose it in one hand of my 77 vs 33.

$320 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (16th out of 30 Players)
Felt like I was the best player at the table. Could read and play anyone properly.
Lost two major hands that busted me.
The 1st was A8d, I limp and so do about 3 players, we see the flop of JQ5 two diamonds. The button bets very small(he does this to get cheap draws) in comparison with the pot. One player calls(another loose player) and I am last to act and call. Turn in a 7, we check and the button checks. River brings the Q pairing the board. UTG player if he has any pair would bet and he checks, so I bet about 40% of the pot. The button, with the draw, thinks for quite some time and calls. He shows the T7 of diamonds, turned a pair and has the nerve to call me down. With my read I should have bet more to protect my hand as this player likes to call with anything and has to have a big reason not to.
Next I have AK, blinds 50-75 UTG tight player comes in for 300, 4 players call and I see AK. I have 2.5K total and can pick up 1300. I am sure UTG has a pair or AQs. I like my chances and see KK.
A bit disappointed in myself to be honest.

$120 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (4th out of 28 Players)
Played strong like bull!
Did not make any mistakes.
Played one situation very well. I have 64 off in the SB and 5 players limp. I have 4K in chips and the blinds are 300-600 with a 75 ante. I think for a second and move all in. It took awhile for everyone to fold but they eventually did. That doubled me up.
Another great fold was AA. I raise pre, Jerry calls me(solid player) flop is KJT, I just check fold as I can't think of one hand he can have that I can beat. He shows me top two.
Another good fold was AQs from the SB when another tight player raised from the cutoff. My chip stack only allowed me to move all in or just call. I choose to fold and save them for another hand. *I would have lost that hand if I had played it. (AQ is a piece of shit in tournaments)
Very happy with my results. I could have gotten better than 4th but battled the chip leader as he had 70% of the chips and I was lowest.

May 27, 2006, 8PM: Played 1 hour, 18 minutes, Lost $401.00 at Party Poker
$4 Pot-Limit Omaha
Lost two big hands and was lucky to get away with such a small loss.
1st hand was set over set where he had a runner runner flush draw that hit.
The other was again a set versus only a straight draw and his other 2 cards were dead.
That is the way pot limit omaha goes!
