Backed Daryl's rebuy, he missed a huge draw head up deep in the tourey, about 30 players left.  He has like 56 or 67 of hearts against KK with a flop of 47J two hearts.

August 31, 2007, 7PM: Played 5 hours, 24 minutes, Made $850.00 at Richard Karn Celebrity Auction
$400 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (6th out of 250 Players)

Grinded and fought my way through all the beginners.
 
I didn't raise as heavy pre-flop nor bet as heavy on the flop since these people don't realize the differnce.  They would fold river bets of 200 into 5k pots, it was silly.
 
Once we were down to the final 9 I was 8th in chips.  After doubling up I had 100K and was sitting in 4th with 7 players left.
 
This next hand blew my mind.  I raise in mid position with AQ, blinds are 5-10K and I make it 30K to go.  The goofball on my left raises all in for 80K.  I insta-call to see him roll over 45 off against my AQ.  I lose and that cripples me down to 20K and my big blind coming up.
 
I manage to outlast another player and take 6th, 7th was another entree into the event the following year.
 
Had I won that hand I would have been 1st in chips and they would have been in deep shit.  1st paying 10K seat in the WSOP, airfare and accomodation.

Went with Nate to Cat's Paw, the game turned into a High Only No Limit game.
 
Lost most of my chips trying to bluff a calling station.
 
Before we knew it the game was 3 handed and we quit.
