AK diamonds, ran into AA...don't like to just shove with AK early but the way the hand played out I don't think I had a choice.

First break.  Only have 1800.  I have had almost no hands this whole hour.  Doubled with QQ halfway through after falling to 1000 in chips but haven't been able to get anything going.
 
Am grindin on a short stack...finally picked up AK only to split with another AK.
 
Man, honestly feel like I played as good as I have in a long time.  I finally got it in with AQ and was called by A4.  I felt super confident despite being between 1000 and 1600 with the blinds at 100-200.  This one stings a little more because I played so well.

turned a K high flush and had two ppl call a big bet, then the river paired the 2's, and i lost to 2's full of 3's.  woulda got me to 7k.
 
First break.  Outside of the one bad beat I took it was a great level.  I havce 4300 which is ok for this point of the tournament and I have a decent read on most of the table.  27 are paid and 94 are left.
 
was short got it in with KQ v KJ and lost.

Poker Break and Roulette

I am up in the UP visiting my friend from school.  We went to their little dump of an Indian casino and I made $17 playing roulette.  On a more relevant note this little trip is forcing a 6 day break from poker on me.  I think it is a good time for one i am in a little bit of a down swing and I think i just need to come back with a fresh and positive outlook, especially for the cash games.  i was going on tilt pretty quickly lately and that is obviously bad news.

2-tabled, 154 hands.  Ran into AA again in this cash game with KK.  Where is that thing people call a rush.  I haven't had one in about 500 hands of cash game or 5 or 6 tournaments....wow I just picked up AA on the button and raised, the bb folded and then said "shit I had QQ i meant to raise." lol even when i pick up the nuts i get unlucky.
 
However, I managed a small win in this session so I guess i should quit bitchin...but it was close to being a big win which i am kind of in need of at the moment
