September 29, 2007, 10PM: Played 30 minutes, Lost $1.00 at Full Tilt
$1 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (589th out of 1182 Players)

lost a race early with AK v 66 and was down to 240, doubled to 540 shortly after.  doubled again to 1100.  2400.....JJ on a JQ9 board, we get it in he has KK and hits a T...1100.....flopped top pair and lost to an over pair...what an up and down tournament. didn't play great but as the cards layed i prolly shoulda had a big stack

September 29, 2007, 10PM: Played 2 hours, Lost $20.00 at U of M
$0.20 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

really stupid.  basically lost it all in three different pots...each with a flopped set that i got all in against a flush draw that hit each time.

made one fun call though.  i triple straddled a hand for 1.60 and it folded around to the doubled straddle guy who called the .80 and the flop came T95, we both checked and the turn came a 4.  he bet $2 and i called with my A6 putting him on something like a KJ or QJ and a semi bluff.  the river came a blank and he bet $3 and I told him i thought he had to have KJ or QJ and that i wanted to call with A high.  so i called and he flipped over the QJ.  unfortunately i ran like shit the whole night and despite feeling like i played well had a pretty bad day.

Doubled on like the second hand and then played a real goofy pot with AK spades after it came 872, 2 spades...and lost my double back to someone...i am sittin even right now ...i'm a short stack again...i gotta learn how to play tournaments so that i am not short most the time

tried to squeeze

September 25, 2007, 1AM: Played 2 hours, Made $1.16 at Full Tilt
$2 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (40th out of 316 Players)

Built my stack to 3500 after the first break.  then on the first hand after the break 3 ppl limped for 160, plus the small and big blindso there was 800 in the pot and i raised to 780...and got one call.  flop was AQ7 and he led into me and i called...he bet the turn and i folded...i now have 2100.

74 left and i am super short...my table limps like crazy so there is no great spot to move in with a weak hand b/c someone has always called the short stack in that situation...i need a hand or the table to foldto me so i can push very soon.

moved in with AT and got called by K9...he turned a 9, i rivered a A...close one.

2nd break.  i had 3100 and there are 45 left. blinds are going to be 250-500.  88 v KQ...don't win races

September 24, 2007, 10PM: at The Michigan Union
No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (12th out of 28 Players)

Couldn't get anything going.  There are probably 5 good players at these things each week and 4 of the 5 were at my second table, so it was much more difficult to chip up.  I ended up getting short and all in with K5 hearts and losing to AJ.  First time I haven't finished in the top 5 at these things and I won't add points this week to my total.

September 24, 2007, 1AM: Played 1 hour, 36 minutes, Lost $1.00 at Full Tilt
$1 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (165th out of 855 Players)

class in 8 hours, i better either win it all or lose in the first level lol.

real slow first 45 mins and was down to 700 with 40-80 blinds.  i doubled from the button with 55 v 22 and then more than doubled with TT v AK.  A few hands later i won a decent pot with AK against a loose-cannon with Q8 and i am up to 4400 at the break.  there are a little over 300 people left, 126 get paid.

Really card dead during the second hour.  Raised with AQ in a hand and got check-raised on the flop after it came K75...got short and shoved on the button for 9x the bb with A9 hearts and lost a race.

September 21, 2007, 10PM: Played 2 hours, Made $0.71 at Full Tilt
$1 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (117th out of 1072 Players)

It isn't even the first break but I have to comment because at this rate I just might find someone to give my chips to before i make it to the break....I am playin pretty darn aggressive, especially for me but it sure is fun....ok now I made the break...3900 in chips.  great table and if they pay attn they think i am a maniac at this point since i have shown a few bluffs.

Wow i just ran over that table, i have 7500 but i just got moved and its time to settle back a little and figure out the new table.

Second break, 19k in chips..25th of 139 left.

well thats disapointing...took a hit to my stack in a pot with AQ v KK flopping a Q.  then raised with TT and the flop came J94 all spades (i had Ts) i checked, the guy bet and i moved in...he had A2 spades....the first hand i don't feel like i could have done anything but the TT hand i played pretty poorly...not thrilled with how i played after getting a big stack at all...guess i will try to learn from it.

September 20, 2007, 10PM: Played 2 hours, 30 minutes, Made $1.30 at Full Tilt
$1 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (71st out of 1098 Players)

First break.  2,810 in chips.  Good table.

Second break.  12,000 in chips.  In the money now.

100 left.  I have 11k which is like 18x the bb.  Not horrible but I have been card dead a while and am ready to find a little rush somewhere......Just lost most of my chips with QQ to 55 who flopped a set and the K on the flop saved me from losing it all but i got 5k left, blinds 1-2....needa heater.  picked up 10 10 and QJ called i lost the race.

September 19, 2007, 11PM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes, Lost $2.25 at Full Tilt
$2 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (64th out of 331 Players)

Tough first hour hovering around even until the last 5 mins when I picked off a maniac and doubled up.  Then started the second hour with a very interesting hand:

UTG limps and UTG+2 raises minimum and I look at AK diamonds.  This is not a spot where I want to reraise up to like 750 which is about 1/5 my stack and hope UTG didn't limp with AA or KK and that the first dude didn't minraise with one of these either so i just call in position and 2 others call.  Flop comes AJ10 and UTG bets half the pot and the "Min Raiser" does it again so i fold, UTG folds and Min Raiser shows the KQ.  (oh yeah the min raiser had a very deep stack so that also contributed to my decision to just call preflop.)

Few hands later i bust a guy and nearly double to 9k....and then lose a race to a short stack with AK v 77 to drop to 8k.

wow took a bad one right in the ass and bubbled....could have eeeasily sat out and made the money but that was not the plan.
