No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (38th out of 17680 Players)

What a battle. In a pot against the chip leader and one other in the big blind with ace four off. They both limp in and I bump it to 120k. They call. Flop comes mixed four five king. I push remaining 280k into a pot of 500k. They both call. Both have ace five off. Drawing dead to the two fours. I missed and they split. Top 40 out of almost 18,000 is respectable. Tourney was only paying top 9.

$5.20 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (3rd out of 10 Players)

Been stressed with some off table issues and head not in the game. Pondering a break from online poker(live as well).Decided to play a $5 DorN. Stuck to the plan with no variance. Seems so easy when it works. *If ones focus is any other than doing work at the table, then said person should not enter the arena. If you look around and cannot find the barnyard animal, then it's you.*

$10.40 Buy-In Pot-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (6th out of 10 Players)

Two long tough tables. First game,my AK suited beaten by 710 off. Finish in 6th. Pushed with A10 suited in second, insta call by AK off. King played. *Patience patience patience. That is what one must have. Without it,money making percentages are drastically reduced.* Side note- cannot always wait when stack is low and blinds are high.

Caught good cards early, hung on late in first game. Dominated from the onset in second. I have noticed a trend of these DorN's running longer and longer. I think more people are starting to get the gyst of how to survive.*Cards will not always go your way. In fact, they rarely do. The key is to make the most of the friendly ones and get away from the nasty ones. Poker is such a layered yet simple contest. Just when you think you know it all,you discover you know absolutely bubkis. Man,I love this game!*

Wow! I played so loose and not by the plan. I gambled and it hurt me. Went from 2200 to 275 back to 1800 to out. I am ashamed of myself. I have not just played so loose ever. -Going against ones style,is a mistake. Small moves and adjustments are required against a given opponent. Once you lose your identity and path, you are just playing by luck. Poker is a game of skill and should be played as such. *Psychology Of Poker*

$10.40 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 10 Players)

Bully Bully Bully! Caught cards and dominated table with over 7k in chips. Fourth win in a row,is like five being the stakes were doubled. When playing cash games, choosing your seat is as important as what cards you decide to play. If not comfortable, change seats or leave the game.

These $5 DorN have been really intense of late. High blinds with action all over. I stuck to the plan.Had a 4 hand stretch of ak,kk,qq,aa. Was enough to limp my way to the finish."Revising my game plan" My style-tight aggressive-works against most styles but must be adapted when my image is set and I am getting no action. I will focus on limp-check-check raise instead of leading out with raises. Therefore action has taken place and others involved now have to gamble or fold.
