$330 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (7th out of 10 Players)

Great Tournament...just unlucky.  Blinds started at 25/25, 30min levels everyone starts with 2500, didn't really start to get hands until the 4th level.  Turning point, I'm in late position only 900 left.  Blinds 100/200, 1st position calls, next player raises to 600.  The next 2 players fold to me and I go all in with pocket 5's.  Best hand I've seen all day.  Others fold to the raiser with 300 to call with 2000 in the pot I know I'm getting a call.  He shows AJ off suit.  It doesn't improve and I dbl up to 2600.  I'm in the big blind probally 5 hands later and the same player as above raises to 500 from the button.  Others fold to me and I call and check blind with A6 off suit.  Flop comes down 6 2 7 rainbow.  Player goes all in for 825 more.  The pot odds weren't really there, however I got a read that he missed.  I debated for a minute and final made the call.  Player showed QJ hearts.  I was ahead and made a great call and with 2000 in the pot I take it down eliminating a player and increasing my stack to 3250.  Feeling very good now.  Got time and only about 8 mins until the lunch break.  2 Hands later I'm on the button.  Players fold around to the player on my right.  He raises it to 600, and I look down at pocket rockets.  Think for a bit about pushing allin, but I raise instead to 1800.  Everyone else folds, raiser thinks for what feeling like 5 mins.  Finally he say's "I'm all in" and I insta called.  He had about 900 more than me.  6300 in the pot, and I'd be looking a 2nd in chips at the table.  She shows AK off suit.  Flop comes down, K J 9, all spades and neither of us had one.  Turn was a Q of spades, and the river.  K I go bust.  Pissed

Started out slow...down to 145.  In the BB with 54 off.  6 players limped and I got the flop for free.  Flop 5 5 8.  I checked around player in middle who bet 30, then 1 caller and I call.  $104 in pot.  next card is a 2.  I check, player bets 40, other player folds, I re-raise to 100 to put the other player all in.  He calls with JJ.  River is another 5.  First Time I hit quads live.
My crippling hand was.  AQ suited in the SB.  Player in 1st position raised to 7 blind, one caller then a re-raise to 20.  I then re-raised to 40.  1st pos player calls, and other raiser calls.  About 120 in the pot.  Flop comes 5 5 8.  I bet out 40, and they both call.  turn is another 5.  I checked and they both checked.  River is a Q.  I checked, 1st pos player bets 100, other folds and I call.  Showdown my 5's full of q's.  1st position player shows KK.  Ouch.

Got myself short stacked early...in the BB with blinds 15/30 early raises to 90.  Everyone folds I call with J9h.  Flop comes down 4c Ts 8c, flop open ended.  Move all in and he calls with KK.  Turns a Jc and the river is my 7h for the straight.

Didn't really get the cards all night.  Had one pocket pair Q's and no callers.  Last hand blinds 400/800 and in the SB with Q10d and $5200 left.  Guy in 1st position raised to 1600, I call and BB calls.  Flop comes Qc 4c 4d, i push all in BB folds and raiser calls with KK.

February 10, 2007, 12PM: Played 2 hours, at Boulevard Casino (Coquitlam)

Canadian Poker Tour Event...$10,000 in starting chips.
 
Played very tight early...made it to the first break with about $9,400.
 
30 mins after break on the button with $9,100 and blinds 100/200 dealt pocket Q's.  Player to my left raised it to 600.  Played this horrible...just called early still and thinking to much about if A or K on the flop.  Flop comes 2d 7d 9c.  Player bets 1000, i raised it to 2000, he calls.  Turn is a Jh, he bets 2000 and I call. (Should have pushed all in) river is a 5d.  I only have about 2500 left and am pot commited and the player bets 5000 and I know I'm beat and i call.  So I should have re-raised to $1,800 pre flop then bet about $2,500 when he bet 1000, then pushed after the turn.  Live and learn.

January 31, 2007, 8PM: Played 4 hours, Lost $85.00 at Cascades Casino (Langley)

Wasn't getting ANY cards.  AA once and made about $12.  Last hand had a new player join from the 10/20NL table as it collaped.  Limped in with Kh 7h, new player raised from the button to $15...3 callers including myself.  Flop came down, 2s 2d 7s, floped to pair.  2 checks into me, with $48 in the pot and flush draw showing, I bet $40.  New player calls $40 quickly on the button and other 2 fold.  $128 in the pot, turn is the Js.  Either he was on the flush draw or at least a over pair.  I checked, he bet out $75.  Over half the pot, he called to quickly, now I'm facing a flush.  I folded.

Free-Roll No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (313th out of 2000 Players)

Played well I think...Flopped Quad A's, had Rockets 4 times won all 4 times.  Last hand was the "typical" internet hand.
 
I get pocket QQ's, with BB @ 400, raise it to 1200 from early position (short stacked), get one call and a all in from the chip leader.  I call with my last 5000, and the other player also calls.
 
My QQ against, AA, & KK of the chip leader.  Flop came down K 8 9 5 9....brutal.
