$5/10 Texas Hold'em

First online game in some time. Played passive-aggressive and took a few good sized pots.

May 19, 2008, 12AM: Played 2 hours, Lost $1,200.00 at Tachi Palace
$5 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Pre-flop I'm on the button with perfect position holding a pair of As. Action is 4-ways with everyone calling and one player raising $50 or 10-times the big blind. I come over the top for $200 to get rid of the two callers, which worked, but the player immediately to my right with the original $50 raise goes all-in for an additional $900, Jesus (this is pre). I instantly call thinking he has a medium pair but no he has 94 off and hits his two pair on the flop. Fucking amusing!! Turn and river brings me nothing. After the hand he says, "sorry dude, bad call on my part." I'm like you came over the top for an additional $900 pre-flop with a 94??? He didn't known the difference between a Fing call and an overbet. I call him a dumb fuck and he says "that's poker." Cool thing is, another player says "I'm sorry but you playing 94 off pre-flop for $900 not including his huge raise into you isn't poker dude."

I hate freakin' As!!!!!!!

$5 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

lol, I was drunk as hell due to some crazy ass drinks a friend of mine made for me, which isn't the best combination when Natedawg heads to the Tachi Palace. All the Star Wars games were taken so I headed upstairs to see how the games were going. The limit games were 20 people deep on the list and every table was bumping. This one no-limit game was huge with each player holding an average of $1,500 to $2,000 in chips. I jump in with $1,700 and start pissing people off with my plays and comments in general. Fuck, I'm just having fun with the money I made from another juicy game a few days prior and had nothing to lose. Well that's what I thought last night...lol. I was down a shitload at one point having to rebuy several times but managed to dig my way out once I started putting some reads on people and focusing on a player or two's chip stack and going after them very aggressively. Either way, I just rammed the hell out of each pot, often playing in the blind and took a substantial green. I'd go into further details but aside from my drunk ass calling and hitting everything and playing like a fool, I basically got lucky with the cards tonight.

Please Note: No skill was involved in this session!!! $4,500 of my winnings goes to that damn Umpa (whole other story). Shit!

$4/8 Omaha Hi-Lo

First time I've seen a Omaha game here in months. It's generally an early hour game consisting of an older player base but fun as hell none the less. Played like a rock and pulled a win before running my errands.

May 9, 2008, 3PM: Played 5 hours, Made $1,700.00 at Tachi Palace
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Stopped by with a friend to show him the ropes. Not that NL is my game of choice, I usually do well at the game. Ran into some Navy boys wanting to throw their money away so I was happy to take it off their hands...

Funny thing is UTG I have a pair of 10s and had three callers pre and one player come over the top with AQ. Flop pairs his aces and does little for me so I continue bet hoping he would come over the top, but he simply calls. Turn hits my set and I check to him and 2 others that stayed after the flop. AQ boy goes all-in telling me my read of his pair of aces hitting off the flop were true. I think for a moment and make certain I'm not missing any draws other then his hitting a set or full boat on the river.

The river brings a 9, which gives me my boat so I check again and this time one of the remaining players, not AQ boy (how he stayed in once AQ boy goes all-in is beyond me) bets $750. The only hand that can beat me at this point is pocket 9s in the whole but I didn't put him in on it so I went all-in for an additional $500 and throw over my boat. He mucks his hand in discust so I assume he hit 9s full of aces or something. Felt great...
