$0.10 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Played okay...probably a little too aggressively in a few spots and a little too many C-bets...oh well...you live and you learn

February 26, 2008, 3AM: Played 2 hours, 15 minutes, Made $76.00 at Full Tilt Poker
$3.30 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 90 Players)

Finally a win! I'm really tired right now. This tourney was an interesting structure. It was a 90-person SNG, $3 deep-stacked turbo knockout. I knocked out a total of 8 people on the way to my win, which accounts for $.50 each. This was a pretty good tournament but there are some HORRIBLE players.

The variance in this tournament is probably pretty sick if you play it often. I look forward to playing it again sometime.

I pretty much dominated the final table. I had the chip lead going into the final table and picked my spots to bully the medium stacks. Then in heads up play I donked off some of my chips, so it became even. I just kept relentless aggression going and slowly chipped away at the nit. The nit finally decided to take a stand with the hearts on a 98QA board with two hearts out there...I had A9 of hearts so that was that...Ship it!

February 26, 2008, 12AM: Played 30 minutes, Lost $5.50 at Full Tilt Poker
$5.50 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (204th out of 334 Players)

I feel like I played well and was focused...this was a 6-handed tourney and I was raising with okay hands like A8s, A10, and other 6-handed hands....guys were three-betting me though and I became short fairly quick...sitting at 15 BBs I was looking for a spot to open raise or three-bet shove a raise...I pick up KJs in middle position...tilt man raises 5X UTG, I push....then guy who just beat tilt man pushes....at this point I'm thinking I'm crushed...tilt man calls all-in....Tilt man has A7s and pusher has 99 so I'm actually not in terrible shape...I flop the open-ender but don't hit...oh well...

February 26, 2008, 12AM: Played 20 minutes, Lost $11.00 at Full Tilt Poker
$10 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (111th out of 139 Players)

Told myself I was going to focus for this one, but of course didn't and was busy browsing the net...early position raised 3X, I had JJ in the cutoff and re-raised him 3X, it folded to him and he insta-shoved....that should have been my warning, but because I'm an idiot, I didn't focus and of course made the donk call...he had AA...I was out 2 hands later...

February 25, 2008, 11AM: Played 40 minutes, Made $8.15 at Full Tilt Poker
$0.10 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

This session was really weird...I played well the whole session, but started off with three bad beats against short stacks that were all-in....I grinded it back up though to almost a buy-in...

February 24, 2008, 11PM: Played 1 hour, Made $20.90 at Full Tilt Poker
$0.10 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

I've been really trying to focus on my table selection a little more for the cash games and it seems to be working out...I'm also 4-tabling now instead of 3-tabling and so far my profits have increased...

Tonight went really, really well. I was playing well as well as running well, so I had the combination going that every poker player loves to have. I was actually probably up $30 of so, but I lost a huge hand right before I ended my session where my QQ, some guys KK, and some idiots AJ were all-in pre-flop...hahaha, I actually hit my Q on the turn, but the best hand ended up winning when the guy with KK hit the straight on the river.

Overall, it was a great night and I feel like I'm really on right now in the cash games. I just need to make sure that I only play when I truly want to play...

$0.10 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Just straight up dominated in this session...I trapped the maniacs and bullied the nits...this was the first time I've tried 4-tabling and I think I like it...I won back all I lost last night and then some...
