January 24, 2007, 10PM: Played 3 hours, 30 minutes, Made $160.00 at Four Play
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Played well and was up 180 when a big hand happens.  Someone raises to $12, then someone re-raises to $24...two callers before it gets to me on the button.  I have q/j of clubs.  It is toward the end of the night and I want to take a flop becuase I could tell this pot was going to get big....the original raiser just calls.  We are 5-handed.  The flop is q/j/j...two spades.  First to act moves all in for $69 and original re-raiser calls.  I move in for the guy's additional $73 and he calls.  The main pot is now #330 and side pot is $146.  I have $166 invested.  I am up against k/j and aces.  The turn is a king giving Horace the main pot.  It made me sick.  Thanks goodness the guy with aces called two all-ins.  It kept me from being up $500 on the night.....ugghh

January 24, 2007, 1PM: Played 2 hours, Lost $100.00 at Sharps
$100 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (8th out of 19 Players)

raised pre-flop to 2000 with blinds 150/300 because of loose callers.  I get a call.  Flop is 10/7/2..guy bets 500..I raise to 3000 and have 1300 behind me.  He pushes all in and I call committed and he had called my raise with 9/10 off....and never thought he was beat.

January 22, 2007, 1PM: Played 7 hours, Lost $400.00 at Forrest's
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Could not catch any cards and when I did I lost to three-outers.  I had kings and raised pre-flop and got 5 callers...flop was 8/9/2. I move in for $40.  The pot was $69 before the flop.  A guy calls with q/j (gut shot) and hits it on the turn.  I am all in with k/q after the flop and against q/10..ten hits the river....aces beat by q/j...kings beat again all-in by a/j...just a bad night

January 19, 2007, 1PM: Played 3 hours, 30 minutes, Made $1,000.00 at Skyland
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

I straddled for $6 and a guy raises to $26 and had been doing it with any two cards.  there are two callers and I call in the blind.  Flop is 2/3/6 and everyone checks to a tighter player than the one who raised and he makes it $75.  Everyone folds and I look at my cards for the first time and see 4/5.  I raise $200 on top and he immediately says all-in and I call the other $220 more.  The turn pairs the deuce and I htink I may be beat because he had yet to show..river is a blank...he walks up and shows 8/8 and I take a big one down......made more from there when I had trip kings and a guy had a queen with an 8 kicker that two-paired on th river and a girl was all in on a straight draw......good night
