Had AQ flop comes Q rags and i bet 3/4 pot. Player goes all in and I call. He catches a 9 on river to trip his poket 9's! how can he go all in when i bet 3/4 pot with a Q showing on board and he has pocket 9's! I hate on line poker!!!

Taking Time

I have not posted of late. Have not been playing for money. Taking time to study. I'm a new player and when I look at my stats I'm not happy. I got the one AC win and that put me in the black. But my other performances need much to be desired. So I am taking time off. Being new to the game I find this time off a good thing. I read books, play sit and goes for play money so I get some poker practice,(which I think might be the only way to get poker practice for play money. All the rest is nonsense.) and I just bought wilson's simulator and when that comes I will see what I can glean from that. I guess what I'm saying is taking time, especially for one new to the game, is important. Take time to look at your game and plug holes. In the long run I do not see how it can do any harm.
