March 23, 2014, 1AM: Played 30 minutes, Made $100.00 at Paul B's Home Game
$20 Buy-In No-Limit Dealer's Choice Tournament (1st out of 6 Players)

We played NLHE and Omaha tonight another friendly game, I lost one hand all night, I knew he had a made a pair of kings on the flop but the only raise he made was a re raise on the river for 300 it went Blinds 25/50 I had pocket JJ and UTG so I made it 200 to call, I got one caller Paul he was in the BB the flop was 7 K T rainbow, he checked I made it 200 again he snap called and looked at my chips that's when I knew he had a king and I was already beat, I needed runner AQ or one of the Jacks, so the turn came i missed check, check ! The river came i missed He checked I bet 200, he re raised 300 more, I looked at him with content and reluctantly called the measly 300 expecting to see a king, which he did have ! My reads are good live the more faces I encounter on the felt the better I feel about New Orleans in May

March 8, 2014, 12AM: Played 2 hours, Made $44.00 at Thomas's Home Game
$0.5/1 Mixed Games

Had real nice hands tonight Quad A's , Nut flush almost a royal and a hand full of Full houses the only problem was keeping people in the hands , the group of guys that I play with have gotten a bit better , they don't chase as much and play tighter , I don't know if they are weary of me being at the table or because of the range of hands I open with, I do play solid, and I am not going to revert to a wide range of starting hands like a fool , I enjoy intimidating people with my presence 2014 is going to be my year

I haven't played since I left Vegas in Dec 23 2012 the Wsop New Orleans events are coming this may and I hope to be in poker shape , I will be in attendance from May 8th - 14th going for a bracelet
As of 5/1/14 I got screwed by my former employer I was unable to attend the wsop event, I filed a claim and a law suit so mmaybe next time around, I found another job, I'm back in Texas so poker is out of the question as a source of revenue for now, I did find out about Carbon so I will be seeing some of the Carbonites soon, let's see if I can remember the chat emoticon things I think I knew all of them at one time, one of these great days I will have earned the bank roll I need to start my run
