Texas Hold'em Tournament

Well I lied.  I did play some more.  Won an 18 person SNG - its becoming like clockwork as I really don't remember even playing much.  I did lose in two others though, and lost about 8 bucks trying some PLO.  So, I really should have won more but a $12 profit to end the night will do.  $304

January 7, 2007, 10PM: Played 3 hours, Lost $20.00
Texas Hold'em Tournament

So freakin ridiculous.  I'm taking a break for at least the rest of the night.  I cannot fathom how many times I've been sucked out on/have the second best hand.

One hand of a SNG.  I raise with AK (ace of diamonds) get one call.  Flop is A48 with two diamonds.  He bets, I raise, he goes all in.  I call.  He shows AQ.  Turn is the ten of diamonds.  River, one of the two queens that gives him the hand.

Another: Guy UTG goes all in late in a tourney.  I call with AK.  He shows KQ.  Queen on the river.

January 7, 2007, 4PM: Played 2 hours, Lost $18.00
Texas Hold'em Tournament

In a span of 5 minutes, my KK lost to A7 on a flop of 677 all in preflop.  My JJ lost to A6 suited all in preflop on a rivered flush.  And my QQ lost to J-10 all in preflop on a flopped straight.  Two of these knocked me out and one crippled me in a larger tourney, but by no means was I low stacked previous to the hand.

January 7, 2007, 2AM: Played 1 hour, Made $15.00
$0.05/0.10 Texas Hold'em

Playing much better during this cash game than the last one.  I was playing way fewer hands but also getting good cards too.  The players at these levels were pretty pathetic, so I just need to keep playing well to make some money.  I may consider playing some $.10/$.25 if I can keep playing well.

January 7, 2007, 2AM: Played 3 hours, Made $85.00
Texas Hold'em Tournament

Playing pretty well on SNG's.  Should have gone deeper in a $5.50 tourney but my KK lost to AQ all-in pre-flop.  Last SNG, I was heads-up in an 18 person and my KQ loses to Q9 on a flop of Q99.  What can you do??

Playing well though, need to keep it up.

January 6, 2007, 3PM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes, Lost $5.00
$0.05/0.10 Texas Hold'em

This was during the SNG, so it really shouldn't count as another 1.5 hours of play, but thats okay.  Played too aggressively pre-flop (seeing too many hands) and too passively post-flop (not thinking my hands are good).  I need to work on my Cash game skills before my next casino trip.
