$1/2 Texas Hold'em

Short session, maybe 30 hands, played well, one questionable limp on button with q 10, 120 buy in and cashed out 208. Session notes: Hand selection good for short stack. Stayed very focused, only one mildly off read.
Hand notes: Should have comited with Ace Queen on turn after correctly betting flop, hand held up but was in danger of paying off given board. Point is commit on the turn, that is where the money is most often made against weakish opponents who are unlikely to bluff river.  JJ hand raised question of shove with stack size.  Played to see a flop, If stack was larger a reraise against Ed would probably have been correct.

January 11, 2010, 1AM: Played 1 hour, Lost $120.00 at Orleans
$1/2 Texas Hold'em

First session of new step program I have designed for live play. Session was unremarkable except that i might well of left at about 50 stuck as game was short and not good and was nearing time to sleep.  Got broke going all in with one over and nut flush and two to come getting laid 6 to one with pot and bet taken together but no luck to win.
Session Notes: May have become slightly involved with a few hands because game was so tight.  This was incorrect, I should have just played super tight and waited for games to combine. A put unnecessary stress on stack, which would have cost me equity if real opportunity arose
Hand Notes: Played suited ace well in position in terms of building pot with short starting stack. Just missed the draw.
