March 19, 2007, 11PM: Played 7 hours, Made $109.25 at Poker Stars
$0.25/0.50 Texas Hold'em
This is sort of a blanket entry in order to start this off. Haven't played on PS since the fall, but they were running $5,000 freerolls to get membership up in some poker alliance, so I played and cashed in one. It was an amazing $6.00 prize, but I decided to try and run it up, as I have done before. Started at the .5/.10 tables, and with patience built enough up for a $5 one table sit and go. I ended up winning the first one, and taking first again in another, as well as second in a third, and 1st in a $10 sit and go as well. Another hour or so at the .50/1.00 tables and I was up to just under $110 dollars, so we will see how the rush continues. The key is staying patient and playing solid poker always, and not expecting to win big always (insomuch as it tends to lead to greedy play; staying confident, however, is HUGE). I have immense faith in my tournament play so we will see about sticking around the 1 table sit and goes.
