60+10 No Limit Texas Holdem Tournament
Early in the tournament I made 2 mistakes. (1) I raised in early position with A8 off and Ran into pocket Aces after a Flop of A 3 J. (2) Showed major weakness with my gestures after the flop. I took notice of these things immediately and Built a very tight-agressive image and from that point on I won 90% of every pot I opened up with. Went into the final table with 4 to 1 chip advantage and got on a roll of cards like you wouldnt beleive knocking people out left and right. I focused on the type players that were sitting at my tables and learned how to play them after every major changing point in the tournament before playing them to win. One thing on my mind the entire tournament was SURVIVAL. I put myself in position at the final table after playing extremely tight agressive poker to loosen up and steal blinds when I needed to cripple someone/ put someone out that I felt could become a threat later in the tournament.
