November 15, 2007, 7PM: Played 4 hours, 12 minutes, Lost $293.95 at Full Tilt
$1 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Just could not do anything right in this game.

SO MANY TIMES I'd have the high locked up and my opponent calling all in only to win half IF low got there, which it did.  Or I would have high and low and they would be dead to either some garbage two pair or one of the 3 dueces left to counterfit me.

I also misread a few players.. thinking they were on low when on high etc.  Finding that my style of play makes them want to chase me, which they do, and at times it is great, but when I miss or they suck out, it hurts.

Think I was pushing my hands too hard in this game as well.

Also, it was the ONLY game I lost in, my normal rule is to quick a game if I am loosing and try another. I didn't.

$11 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (18th out of 1350 Players)

Gringing...

Key thing here that helped me get so far.  I did not play a few hands against a lot of resistance.

That is, I had TT, there was a raise in front of me.  If I played I would have had to risk my tournament life.  Knowing these idiots play anything and will call I just let it go.  Then later I picked up AKs, folded to an UTG raiser, just didn't feel it and again would have had to risk my whole stack.

Point is, from what I see, you can't go into auto pilot and play and AK or pair the whole tourney.  You will get beat or run into a better hand.  Laying them down can be a better play.

November 15, 2007, 7PM: Played 4 hours, 18 minutes, Made $371.85 at Full Tilt
$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

This was by far the easiest game to pick off.  Was playing like 3 games of this at one point.

Not sure why I did so well at this today.  My mind just sees the hands clearly.

November 15, 2007, 7PM: Played 3 hours, 12 minutes, Made $148.50 at Full Tilt
$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

6 handed table, I love PLO.. I'm playing with no fear.  Using position a ton.  Firing out that continuation bet and wisening up when I get resistance.

Limping a lot early and UTG but not calling raises from there too often.

$1 No-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Kicked some ass.. playing like 5 cash games while playing tourneys on my right side.

Don't like the No Limit games.  Cause for error is too large.  I ended up calling a lot of all ins thinking it was a tournament table.

November 15, 2007, 5PM: Played 1 hour, 24 minutes, Made $13.40 at Full Tilt
$11 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (24th out of 700 Players)

Just doesn't seem worth it to place 24th out of fucking 700 and make $13.  Just over doubling my money.

My last hand was QQ, my gut told me to fold pre-flop.  I had just folded AK pre and pocket Tens so my disaplin was there.

I wanted to fold because.. well too much action, blinds are 500/1000, UTG limps, next player raises to 4K, next player raises to 10K and I have a stack of 20K.

If I move in I am getting called in at least one spot, the 10K raiser.  What does the limper and the original 4K raiser have? My gut tells me one has KK and the others Ace something.

I was right, we each had QQ and the limper had KK.  Drawing dead.

November 15, 2007, 12PM: Played 48 minutes, Lost $11.00 at Poker Stars
$11 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (292nd out of 2187 Players)

I'm steaming with anger right now.

Playing this $11 tourney like it is the main event of the WSOP.  Trying to play my best regardless of the buy-in amount.

While I'm playing my 3-5 cash games I notice I have over 20K in front of me, we are about 60 or so from the money and the average stack is only 8k! How wonderful.

Then this little fucking all-in agro cocksucker mimicks DonkeyMaker and his all-in miracles.  He's sitting on my right and only has 5k in chips.

I raise in the cut off with 88 to about 1k, he is on the button and agros allin with A5 for 5k.  He cracks my 88 and has 10K, I have about 15K now.  I round or so later, he is down to about 7K and I have around 20K again.

I pick up KK on the button, early position player goes all in for 2K, I move in for 4K, He moves all in for 7K with AQ!! Just not sure how he move here when it is an overcall.

So now the agro has 14K and I have about 13K, the next round of the button I pick up TT on the button, I make a normal raise to about 2K, and he auto shoves.  I know here he probably has at least one overcard.  But WTF, he can't win EVERYTIME I have him dominated.  Well, yes, he can and did with his Kx suited.  I'm furious.

I could have folded and had 10K or so, but fuck, he would have just done that over and over to me.  I had to make a stand.  That or wait for AA and hope he doesn't suck out. Had my hand held up I would have had almost 30K and been in 5th.

I did something I am not proud of nor never ever do.  I watched the rest of his tourney.. mentally rooted against him.  Actually, watching him I learned that he WAS a donkey, raising with A9 in early position, on and on.  Just crazy how these players slip through the cracks and survive for so long.

November 15, 2007, 12PM: Played 24 minutes, Lost $26.00 at Full Tilt
$26 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (699th out of 910 Players)

I'm steaming with tilt.

Play a hand perfectly, trapping this guy for his whole stack with only 4 cards he can hit, and the river brings it.

I'm steaming about this because it seems like the most criticle of hands and pots I get fucked.
