wow...played this tourny cuz i was mad about the recent cash losses i have had but was fortunate enough to make a few hands early and settle down...i feel like i finally got a good break through in a tournament and this good finish helps the confidence...only sucked out one time for a big pot in the tournament with about 40 left i hit a 6 outter on a guy that was all in for about 3/4 of my stack with 1010...i had AK and hit the A onthe river (whew)...after that i chipped up nicely and avoided big confrontations...started heads up with a 3:1 chip disadvantage but didn't play all that well heads up either...i was so excited to be guaranteed over 450 bucks that i overplayed a few hands out of nervousness.  overall, obviously real happy

the last week of poker

i haven't played great but have also run pretty bad.  one thing i definitely need to do is increase the length of time that i have been sitting at a table.  lately it has been sit for 30 mins and then go off to whatever i have to do that day.  i played a play money razz tourny with 33 people in it this afternoon to blow off some steam from the cash tables and won so that has inspired me to play a little bit of real razz to change it up a little bit.

played well but lost one big hand...had AQ UTG and raised standard, had one call on the button and on from the BB...flop came Q74 rainbow, i led out for 3/4 the pot and button called..turn 8 making 4 suits on the board...i check called the button's 4 dollar bet...river was a K and i check/folded to a 9 dollar bet...i may have played this hand a little cautisouly but can't figure out where i mistepped if at all...i am pretty sure he had a set as there had not been a lot of crazy play at all at this table...any comments would be interesting to read...
