$5 Buy-In Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Tournament (6th out of 10 Players)

The most boring game ever.  I lost interest and started raising like I was Jesse.  Of course it doesn't work for me like it does for the wop.

$4 Buy-In Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Tournament (82nd out of 377 Players)

Had an aggro at my table that I had to battle with for the first 45 min.  Tried to go with him for a bit, then settled in and waited to double off him.  Stalled and lost a hand to him before getting moved to a new table short.

$0.25/0.50 Omaha Hi-Lo

Playing some limit and trying to clear my bonus before going broke. :) Both tables I played collapsed on me quickly.

$0.10 Pot-Limit Omaha

Limped a lot pre-flop then tried to play post.  Made some good bets and layed hands down when I should.  I think I am laying down too many hands on the river with two pair, etc when the board gets ugly for me, or I miss my main draw.  I need to get more aggressive pre and put pressure on my opponents during the hands.  I am getting better at playing more hands and reading better.  This should help my tourney play, especially early when the blinds are low and I feel comfortable playing more hands.

Came off my win the last round.

$5 Buy-In Pot-Limit Omaha Tournament (7th out of 9 Players)

Played a lot of hands and yo-yoed for a bit then stabilized a bit short of even and waited.  Raised about 2/3 of my stack on the button after folding for a long time with KKT9 and the sb puts me in.  I think and decide to call. I am happy not to see AAxx, he has AJJ4.  So I am about 2 to 1 to win.  He spikes an A on the river to take me out.  Not a bad tourney as I got to play quite a few hands and got beat putting my money in with the best hand.

$4 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 9 Players)

Won a $26 tourney token.  Made QQ hold up second hand and never let the chip lead go.  I played solid and let the donks make the mistakes.

$8 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (15th out of 18 Players)

@ table turbo token race, top 5 get $26 tokens

QQ utg. I double the bb and get 3 callers.  flop 237 rainbow.  I pot and someone pushes, I call without thinking, of course I should have thought.  I let them in cheap, it is a turbo so hand requirements are less and what would he be willing to push with here.  He had a set of 3's and I was done.  I don't know if I can lay it down anyways, but his willingness to go all in over my pot bet on the flop should have been a clue.

PL HA

Played a lot of hands early and had to dig myself out of holes many times.  Was near the bottom of the chip count most of the tourney, but decided to hang tough and see if I could make the final table.

Once at the final table I waited and picked off a few pots.  then 2 hands in a row took me from 7th in chips to first.  Both in PLO, both AAxx.  The first as I am short I get a raise in front of me and decide to push with AAQx ds the guy cals with AKJx and I hold.  Very next hand the same guy raises and I just call with AAxx.  Get a caller behind and flop Axx two spades.  I get all in again and hold.  From there I was ever really challenged.  I got lucky with the games as we played a lot of PLO 3 handed, where I had a distinct advantage over the other two.  Switched to NLH heads-up, but I held a 4 to 1 chip lead and it was over rather quickly when he picked up AT and I had AJ.

I played a lot of hands this tourney and wasn't afraid to make some pre-flop calls of raises.  I think I have been too tight pre-flop, especially getting into raised pots when I have position.  I need to be willing to put some chips in pre and see what comes.  The more I think about it, it applies to almost every game, level, or structure I play.  I will try to work on this when I get back from my weekend break.
