Duh.  Should've bailed earlier but there was a ton of money on the table with $500+ in front of several players.  Couldn't see a flop without committing yourself to paying $20 preflop and 2nd place wasn't counting for much.  I'd win an occasional pot to stay afloat but nothing consistent and missed draws were above average for me tonight.
 
Couldn't get anyone off a hand.  As an example, flop comes three to the flush and I have top pair.  I get called down by one player without a flush draw with bottom pair that spikes trips on the river.  WTF? Nice hand sir.

Cards were hitting early on like flies to the zapper when I was at the short handed 2nd table with small pots...made it to the main table and the cards slowed way down and my usual battle resumed for most of the session.

Since there wasn't anything going on at BD's, I thought I'd go downtown again.  Rob joined me after he was off work.  Omaha was doing well with two tables but TxH was slow with only one table and many of the same players I'd seen the previous night.  The game itself was slow...how much decision making time does it take to decide to fold to a $2 blind? I think several players thought they were on tv and pausing for their moment of glory on the boob tube...argh! Wasting Time! Fold! Call! Raise!

$2-$6 Spread-Limit Texas Hold'em

Just back from a trip to Vancouver, BC.  Loved the city, hated my travel buddy.  Checked out River Rock casino in Richmond (BC), poker room was all NL TxH and Omaha.  Wasn't traveling with a poker person so it wasn't worth trying to play, games looked good with 5 NL tables on a Monday night...room for another 10 (?) to be opened...maybe go back another time.
 
Swung by and picked up Sister and her "Hon" to go to Ringo's.  Struggled to get any starting cards.  Ended up winning five pots total for the night and leaving at my high point.
 
I did get a lecture and a threat from one of the players for check raising him...he's going to get me...I'm scared.  Thinking back I believe I was the only player to check raise during my 5 hours of play...straight up raising was ok...check raising bad...but I wanted to get my money back so I could get out of there...oh well.
