Texas Hold'em

finished just outside the money in the midnight madness... i was in about 201, 261 get paid... and 320 were left or so... i raised in MP with pocket 3s, i'd been real, real, real, real tight all game... as in 9% of flops
 
someone pushed me all in... i thought for a minute, put it on a race and figured i'd rather double up and go for a run at the top than fold 1/4th my stack away
 
he had A-Q, so i was right... unfortunately, a Q on the flop and turn ended that
 
won a heads up
won a 6 handed turbo
 
finished 8th in a 45 SNG losing a 3 way all in with AK vs. A9 and JJ... also lost half of my stack making a stupid bluff... i've played pretty bad at 45 sng final tables recently

Texas Hold'em

horrible variance today... just horrible... only thing that kept me even was dominating turbo six handed sngs
 
even there i ran bad, shoved with KJ, equally short stack calls with-57 and holds
 
tournametns can't get ground... queens run into KJ thtat flops KKJ... it was brutal
 
i had a couple key suckouts, twice with underpair flopping sets... but variance fucked me hard today

okay...
 
didn't want to post on this til i got back to even, because i was kind of pissed off thaaaat...
 
i was at 240, had one of those drunken nights, took a pretty bad beat on a well overpriced game for my roll... then went on super tilt
 
woke up the next morning with 2 bucks
 
 
i've worked that 2 bucks back up to 260... hopefully lesson learned... took a lot of time tho... that day, after the beating, i went on a great roll and pushed it from 2 to about 150... been a grind since then tho... 35 hours is an estimate over a 9 day span, but it's probably right

sucks because i was 6th with like, 280 left... i was in good shape
 
rna into some trouble when A-8 went all in against my A-10 and flopped a set
 
i owned one player by bluffing him one hand and busting him the very next one
 
later i was still big, called someones all in on a 3-2-5 board with 8s and he had Js
 
so when it was going to the money i had to stall... like BIG TIme... running things down
 
eventually i squeaked into the money when i was in the BB, first position shoved, i had As-10s and called... he had 6s, i was real excited since i had a chance in the race, but the board was dead
 
pay out is better since i used a token i got in a 8.00 sng yesterday

i beat the shit out of it... big time... as in, i busted like 8 of the 18 players
 
i busted the first 3 on the final table... and bragged about it at great lengths
