$24 Buy-In Pot-Limit Omaha Tournament (110th out of 247 Players)

My big starting hands didn't flop well, but I stayed patient until after the break when I turned the second nut flush, only to see the A high. Ineeded to push toget some chips to have any chance to make the $.

August 18, 2007, 2PM: Played 1 hour, Lost $10.00 at FT
$0.10 Pot-Limit Omaha

Very aggressive table where a trap would work well.  My big pre-flop hands didn't materialize and draws missed.  For instance, last hand, 3 handed, flop K92 rainbow.  I have QJTx, the other two hands are set of kings and set of dueces. 2 on turn.

Took 88 on button vs 99 in sb to cripple me.  I had a feeling he was better, but didn't listen to myself.

$8 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (96th out of 180 Players)

Flopped top two in bb w/ 79 bet pot and got called by J9. J on turn and I am done.  Luck has a part in this game no matter what we may like to believe.

$0.25/0.50 7-Card Stud

Decided to play a bit as the wife took a shower.  Watched the WSOP on ESPN and thought I would take a shot at stud, as I haven't played it in a long while. It is also harder to go on tilt and blow a lot in a short time.

August 12, 2007, 10AM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes, Lost $5.50 at FT
$5 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (92nd out of 326 Players)

At first break I am 16 of 130.  I am playing a few more hands than normal for me.  I am looking to accululate chips an make a high finish.  This may lead to a flame out, but I am ok with that.  I have decided to grind small wins in the single table tourneys and go for the bigger hits when I play in the larger field events.  A bit more gamble, and aggression to get some chips to play with to make the top 5 and a $100+ payout.

Start out after the break with5 solid starting hands and win 1 of them to drop about 4K in chips.  Regroup and play solid, but lose with AQ vs A6.  Then JJ to AK same guy.  I guess if I lay off those first 4 hands I am OK, but I thought it was a chance to make a big move and solidify my chip standing.

August 11, 2007, 9PM: Played 48 minutes, Made $3.50 at FT
$5 Buy-In Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Tournament (3rd out of 9 Players)

Played well, trapped, and got a bit stack. Got a little over aggressive with the big stack and got caught.  Fell into a big hand 4 handed. Turned nut flush with second nut low.  Was second all in after the big stack pot bet it.  He had nut low and a set.  Board pair on river and I'm out in third.
