$12/24 Texas Hold'em

Played rock solid cause knew I was having to go back to work.  Was nice to have some respect from what usually are loss donkeys.

May 19, 2006, 2AM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes, Made $173.00 at California Grand
$4/8 Omaha Hi-Lo

Got another chance to play while working.  Had to go back to dealing or woulda made more.  Killed the pot the hand before having to return so couldn't play it, not enough time.  It was raised so I folded.  Would have flopped the nut full house and won another $100 but had to work again.

WSOP

How many people going to the WSOP?? Looking at the schedule, sure seems like they have made a lot of changes.  What's up with this 50K HORSE tourney? Who wants to stake me in that one?? LOL Looks like they are expecting around 8000 entries this year.  4 day 1's....amazing..1st should be around 9 MIL probably.  Hope to make it there for at least a few days.  If I do, I'll be the one sitting at the final table of each event I enter.  Happy gambling.

May 15, 2006, 3AM: Played 4 hours, Made $800.00 at California Grand
$6/12 Texas Hold'em

Got a chance to float at work so jumped into a short handed game to help keep it going.  After winning the first 7 hands, I got the table gambling so much it was funny.  Any pot I called, at least 1 person raised.  What they didn't see was that I was limping with big hands and getting paid of cause I never raised.  It's so much fun to have an entire table on TILT.  Haven't had that happen since the Lucky Lil's days playing with Jesse.

Free-Roll No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (28th out of 3500 Players)

Another qualifier for the WSOP.  Since my last showing wasn't that good.  Built up a big chip stack early by playing solid poker.  Was able then to use my big stack to steal pots and bully the smaller ones out.  Had to go to work and blinded off so not sure how well I would have done.  Doesn't matter, top 50 move on to next tourney anyway.

Free-Roll No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (3,336th out of 3752 Players)

After spending hours trying to qualify for this tourney, I go out so early.  Very disappointing.  Went against my initial decision to wait till after break to play a hand.  Just couldn't let go of KK though.  Raise in early position and get reraised.  I just smooth call, cause I have the feeling the guy has AA.  Hoping to out flop him.  I did with flop of K74.  I check, he bets, I push all-in.  He doesn't even hesitate.  Hands turned over and just as I thought, AA.  I was in the drivers seat.  What comes on the turn???? An A of course.  That was the end of my day.  Still happy with the way I played the hand.  Just got unlucky.  What do you all think??? Should I have played it differently.  Thought about folding pre-flop with it but wasn't sure.  Should I?? After lossing the hand of course I think I should, but is that the right play?

Free-Roll No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (566th out of 4000 Players)

Lost another race.  AK suited vs 99.  Flop two pair, and get called.  Turn a blank.  Get called.  River 9, I move all-in and get called.  How could they think nines were good at any time.  Do have to get lucky this regular? Must be an on-line thing.
