January 21, 2007, 2AM: Played 8 hours, Lost $38.00 at Oaks Club
$4/8 Omaha Hi-Lo
What a grind. Got stuck 400 early. Finally, after 7 hours I had enough. I raised preflop every hand, deciding I was going broke or getting even. Finally hit a monster hand and got even. Played till bb and left. Just happy to be even.

January 13, 2007, 2AM: Played 2 hours, Made $470.00 at California Grand
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em
Another good night. Had a couple of donkeys in the game calling everything. Was nice to have my hands stand up. Think I'm finally getting a good imagine there. Takes a while since I deal here too. For some reason they think dealers don't know how to play and give them no credit.

January 12, 2007, 1AM: Played 4 hours, 30 minutes, Made $970.00 at California Grand
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em
What a session. Not only was I playing really well, making good reads...I was making my hands and they were standing up. The best thing is when you flop a little set...
had 22 in bb and no raise, 4 players. Flop K82, checked around. Turn A, I check and they go nuts. All-in, All-in, All-in. This biggest stack is 180 which I have covered. Can only call. The hands are AQ, AK, A8. How much better could that be.
Later, take down another big pot with 33. Flop 632, turn 6 when guy pushes with 77.
Should have won about 700 more but was playing good poker...maybe a little to tight towards then end. One hand have A10 on button with pre-raise to 20. Seeing 4 callers I call. Flop KJ9, checked around. Turn 6, early positions bets 65 with 1 caller. I fold, river Q. K10 wins.
Other hand limp mid position with 66 with 8 callers and MB raises to 50. I fold, 1 caller. Flop 864. 1010 wins. Talking with the guy next to me. He says he had 44 and would have called if I had called. He had around 300 in front of him which would have been in my stack.
Oh well, why get greedy. I'll take the almost 1K win.
