Not a good day.  Just couldn't pick up many starting hands and the ones I did, got capped preflop and I would miss on the flop.  Happy to only loss 174.

Sat down till my seat came open in NL.  Was nice to see quality cards winning for a change.  Actually had a number of people comment on my play......how it seems to have improved, and they are giving me more respect because of it.  Not sure if it's only cause I've been winning most of the time or I have actually gotten better.  Could that be????

Had a tough day of cards today.  Flop the nuts and get rivered, my draws missed, while their's got there.  Happy to only walk away down 200 for the day.

September 19, 2006, 5PM: Played 3 hours, Lost $160.00 at California Grand
$6/12 Texas Hold'em

Just couldn't make a hand stand up.  The best one is this, Jesse you'll love it.  I have AA in mid position.  UTG raises so I re-raise.  Button and raiser call.  Flop is 48J rainbow.  Early bets, I raise, both call.  Turn 2.  Check, bet, call, call.  River, 2.  Check, bet, call, fold.  Button shows 23 off.  After that hand knew it was going to be a long day so moved to the omaha game.

September 18, 2006, 4PM: Played 7 hours, Made $32.00 at California Grand
$6/12 Texas Hold'em

What a grind.  Get 250 winner the first 2 hours.  Then got dead cards.  No playable hands for 2 hours, just blinded off.  Then the game changes, no fold'em hold'em.  8 players seeing every flop.  Just glad to walk away with a win.

September 12, 2006, 1AM: Played 4 hours, 30 minutes, Lost $400.00 at California Grand
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Just sat and grinded it out for about 2 hours.  It was a crazy table so didn't want to get to involved without having a premium hand.  No matter how much was raised preflop, had at least 5 callers.
 
Lost 2 big hands.  Not sure how to add the odds to this entry but take a look for yourself.
 
1) Heads up, AK clubs vs. AJ off Raise to 50 after 5 limpers and a late raiser to 15.  Only raiser calls
   Flop: AXX, 2 clubs bet 75, call
   Turn: A bet 190, call
   River: J all-in for last 100
 
2) A10 diamonds in middle possition.  Just limp cause the button has been raising every hand for 20 minutes.  He raises to 16 and get 4 callers between.  I reraise to 45, now it's 3 to the flop
   Flop: AAK, 2 clubs again.  First person bets all-in for 65, I call and button calls.
   Turn: 6, I go all-in for last 160 and get called.  Hands are turned over.  First guy has 89 clubs, button has QJ clubs.
   River: 10 clubs, giving guy royal flush and me full house.  Not only do I lose to a 1 outter, don't even qualify for bad beat.
 
Decide that was enough for the night.  Get them some other time.
