April 30, 2006, 10PM: Played 5 hours, 30 minutes, Made $645.00 at Casino Morongo
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

Played rather loose but well, enjoyed the game after a weekend of losses. Looking forward to my vacation up north. I'll get the opportunity to play at some of my old tables.

April 29, 2006, 2PM: Played 3 hours, Lost $302.00 at Casino Morongo
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

Slow and go for several hours. The larger casinos out here are very slow early in the day. I need to learn to be more patient regardless of how slow a group is. Or just leave the table out of boredom and move on. Before I leave a table down, I always feel I can make it back. Obviously this is not the case!

This session reminds me of a scene in the movie Rounders, "if you can't determine who the sucker is within 30-minutes, you are the sucker."

I'm turning into a no-limit player, disliking limit games more and more...

April 29, 2006, 11AM: Played 2 hours, 30 minutes, Lost $35.00 at Casino Morongo
$35 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (9th out of 147 Players)

Played well aside from my placing 9th for no money. As Jesse would say, the damn "donkeys" kicked me out by playing a 3-9 offsuit to my pocket Ks and hitting their two pair on the river (the 9).

I'll be back!!!
