Ugh!!! Another shitty ass night. No offense Jesse, I found this table full of drunk Greeks on vacation to be playing like shit. They were confused with the betting structure, kill hands, what cards beat what, and were more involved with their next drink. In other words, these fuckers had no idea how to play, were calling everything, and speaking Greek to make matters worse. I'm sure they understood my reply of fuck off in Japanese and ろばのように遊ぶ. The dealers had no idea what I was saying so I was able to stay at the table while expressing my frustrations.

January 29, 2007, 12AM: Made $6,600.00 at Palm Spring's Spa Resort

I'm not sure how to post this. I was down 4-1/2 racks in the $3/6 game and was about to leave. Actually, the game was 6-handed when several of us were debating whether or not to call it a night. Between 11:00PM and 1:00AM the bad beat jackpot is doubled it's normal size. So being only 12:15 or so we all decided to play until 1:00AM. About 8 hands into the second part of the session I was dealt pocket As. The flop comes AQQ, amazed that I flopped the nut full house never thought that someone would pull quads out of their ass.
 
A $250+ pot and one caller later I was shown the pocket Qs. Not being familiar with the jackpot going to the bad beat hand was confused when several people started yelling and screaming. To my surprise, I had just won the bad beat jackpot for having my As full get beat by quad Qs.
 
I got 50% of the jackpot, the winning hand got 25% and the other 4 players split the remaining 25%. My cut was just over $7,100.
 
After tipping the dealer $500 and sharing a couple celebratory drinks with the others was not sure how to post this win so I subtracted the 4-1/2 racks I had lost from the jackpot win. Correct or no???
 
What an awesome night. I had hoped that such a situation would have justified a larger jackpot but apparently someone else had won it several weeks back upwards of $24,000. Damn, if that money was still sitting in there I would have pulled about $15,000 more. Oh well, I can't be too greedy!!! Umm, yes I can.

I was down 4-1/2 racks prior to my winning the jackpot and decided to play for a little longer. Aside from the bonus win it was a shitty night, if I can say it was?

After waiting 2 hours to grab a seat, I had a tough time dragging the pots with decent hands so I started playing blind and took a few and pissed some people off in the process so that made me feel good. The game was too slow for my liking so I called it a night...

Fuck Online Poker!!!!!

I've officially pulled all my money out of Full-Tilt, TruePoker, Paradise, Party Poker, etc.. In recent sessions, I have noticed an increased trend in bull-shit cards that I rarely, if ever, see in live sessions. I actually counted 45 hands in a row where I was dealt nothing higher than a 7 none of which were paired up. What are the odds on that one???
 
I'd have to agree with Jesse that my frustration with Full-Tilt and other online gaming sites have come to a crossroads. Rather then continue my patronage in a broken system, I have decided to focus 100% on my live cash games. Fuck online poker!!!
 
It's too bad because I have generally done well online but have grown intolerant of the online game and all those that play it!!!

January 24, 2007, 10PM: Played 3 hours, 15 minutes, Made $235.00 at Palm Spring's Spa Resort
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

Nice table of seasoned players. It was the usual group of players with an occasional drunken tourist. Played hot for the first 2-1/2 hours and then hit a brick wall when this really drunk ass sat next to me. He reminded me of this cowboy looking player at Lucky Lil's in Bozeman who would bet and raise everything regardless of what they had. Again, it's a good opportunity to take advantage of the drunk during the session but at this particular table ended up killing the action and rhythm at the table. A lot of people would rather fold then see the drunk river you with a 2/5 off in the hole. So, the pots went from an average of $125-$150 to $10-$20, so I racked it up and called it a night.

Fucking slow ass table with a bunch of drunks. Probably the most favorable table to be seated at giving the situation but I wasn't in the mood to play 15 hands per hour.

January 24, 2007, 8PM: Played 1 hour, Made $120.00 at Palm Spring's Spa Resort
Texas Hold'em

I was waiting for a seat at either the $3/6 or $4/8 tables when I saw a new game being played. Well, it was at least new to me and according to the floor is only played during the tourist season. The game being played was $40-$100 Split No-Limit Hold'em. There was a lot of action at the table so I observed for two rounds and realized that the table was two things. Weak, dumb (donkeys), and smelled of money. Well, that was three things but who's fucking counting?
 
Having a little argument earlier in the evening with the wifey said fuck it and jumped into the game with the minimum buy-in. Right off the bat I knew that I was out racked but was only going to sit around until my seat opened up. I held my own for a few rounds but was only able to drag one pot within an hour when my seat came open...
 
This was fun while it lasted but I came to play cards and not lose my bank roll on this evening.

Came so far to place 11th. My 10s on the button ran into JJ in early position and I'm out.
