how many beats can you take in the span of an hour? this is the new record. 2nd hand raise 5x blind with QQ, get one caller. flop comes 10 high rainbow, i bet pot, get raised allin by Q-10 hearts. he gets running hearts to make a flush. Rebuy. couple hands later raise in late position with KJ suited, SB calls, flop comes J high. we get it allin vs QJ. turns a Q. rebuy. couple hands later utg with AA raise 4x blind, only the blinds call. flop comes 3-5-7, check to me. i bet pot. SB raises me allin. i call. he has 7-5 off.

August 29, 2006, 11PM: Played 2 hours, Lost $200.00 at birmingham
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

played like a donk. knew i shouldnt have sat down but i didnt listen to myself of course. won a couple of pots early and thought about getting up $80 ahead, but my ride was still playing. got bored and distracted and threw away half my stack in one hand when i knew i was beat the whole way, then threw the rest away on purpose like a moron. what compells me to give away an extra $50 for no reason. i have no idea, but i need to quit that bad habit of losing my short stack on purpose

August 29, 2006, 8PM: Played 3 hours, 30 minutes, Lost $90.00 at birmingham
$80 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (23rd out of 64 Players)

Played really well before the break, using position and continuation bets to win many smaller pots without facing much resistance. Was 2nd in chips at the table with the chip leader on my right. In the BB with KK, folded around to SB who limped in for 100, i raised pot 400, he calls. Flop comes 2-5-9, he leads out for 1200 into 800. This guy is no donk, so i know he doesnt have a drawing hand or 2 pair, maybe a set, so i raise to 3000, he calls. Turn an ace that brings a spade draw. he check calls my 4000 bet. river is another 9. He immediately moves allin and i have to fold in disgust to another 2 outer. Later he tells me he had K-9. i lost 3/4 of my stack. couple hands later get it allin with KK vs 10-10. Flop a 10, then a straight on the board for a chop. Lastly my top pair A with A9 is beat by a river 3, A3. i cant win

$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

table 1 was full when i got there, so i played 5 handed at table 2 til i could move over to where the good money was. bunch of donks givin their money away in bunches on gut-shots. didnt get to take advantage of the terrible play, but got lucky to double up when flopped a set of 2s to crack aces. played better once i got a bigger stack.
