August 31, 2006, 11PM: Played 3 hours, Made $45.00 at lucky lil's butte
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

was the floor man so I got in and played to keep the 2nd table going.  I find it funny that when I am attempting not to kill people I seem to be in the situation much more often of having monster hands, maybe it's just in my outlook or just a short term variation but I seem to have big hands way more often when I am not trying to kill the game.  oh well.

August 31, 2006, 2AM: Played 1 hour, Lost $16.00 at lucky lil's butte
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

just got in at the end because a couple of our better customers were pig stuck and this one total donkey had a massive stack of 400+.  was hoping maybe they might get well and appreciate it or I might get well and appreciate it.  anyway, I got stuck 90 right out of the gates on a couple 2 and 3 outers that went against me, then won the last 3 hands I played to make it up.  one of my buddies got halfway even, so it wasn't too bad.

August 25, 2006, 12AM: Played 3 hours, Made $47.00 at lucky lil's butte
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

same story as the last two logs.  game needed a player so I jumped in. I had 3 really huge hands I had to give air on which is frustrating on one level, but rewarding on the other side as people remember that when they tip. one time I make 8's full of 3's with 88 vs 10 10.  another time I make 8's full of 10's with 88 vs KK and finally I make the nut flush vs. a set.  I could have gotten 6-12 more out of each of these hands, but what can you do.  tough to make it on both ends.

August 24, 2006, 2AM: Played 5 hours, Made $48.00 at lucky lil's butte
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

playing while working to keep the game going while short handed.  again this is a very tough spot because you really don't have all your weapons at your disposal...you can't check raise and all that when you are trying to keep the game alive.  in this session I pretty much was playing straight up, missed a ton early then got on the heat to make it up and book a decent little win.

August 23, 2006, 1AM: Played 7 hours, 30 minutes, Made $81.00 at lucky lil's butte
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

was more like shilling as the game was short handed and I wanted to keep it going, therefore I gave air on several occasions and didn't get involved in spots I certainly had reason to be in.  at least I made some money since I got the wife furious for being at work on my night off...sigh

August 8, 2006, 5AM: Played 3 hours, Lost $230.00 at partypoker.com

WOOHOO tubed it all off again.  I started off well for once, getting up about 50 within the first couple hands I played, then I started getting just ridiculous beats.  my lack of sleep combined with getting very bitter put me in a fine ramming mode to tube off.  I really don't know that I will ever get over this internet thing.  I can't stop pissing away my online bankroll in one night.  I have a real problem stopping when I am stuck.  it's becoming an issue.  kinda glad to be broke til next month, it's a burden off my back.  I really wish just one night I could run as well as my opponents do against me.  it would be nice to hit gutterballs and runner runner flushes to crack sets pretty much at will.  I always seem to catch the miracle card I need to suck out and then get whammied on the river costing me more since I got to raise when I had my brief lead. I don't need to get into specifics, we all play and know what running like crap entails, but c'mon, can I have my one huge night of heat?

August 7, 2006, 3PM: Played 2 hours, Lost $26.00 at partypoker.com

well this session was one of my 4 table at once maniac deals like jesse taught me.  the hand that will haunt my sleep JJ vs KJ with the K J 8 flop...never could convince the guy he was behind, he didn't miss a bet, of course he wasn't behind on the river, so maybe I shouldn't have tried to hard. not bad though, wasn't 100%, feeling tired and crabby, so it could have been one of my typical tork off the stack sessions.  having the time constraint forced by work is good for me.

August 7, 2006, 4AM: Played 3 hours, 15 minutes, Made $50.00 at partypoker.com
$2/4 Texas Hold'em

it will come to no shock to my constant readers that I of course went ahead and got stuck about 80 right away during this session.  I so badly wanted to go off shift when I picked up QQ, flop Q 5 7 rainbow and lost the pot to A J.  the guy actually bluffed and got raised on the turn when the ten peeled off, but I couldn't get him to let the 4 outer go, and why should he really, was there any doubt it would come? anyway, I got very lucky in a 3 way pot against the same player later on with the Q T of clubs, he had KK and some other donkey had 4 6 of clubs...the flop is 3 5 9 with 2 clubs (I am sure the 4 6 loved that flop), it's 3 bet on the flop.  the turn is the glorious K of clubs.  I was in the middle so I got to check raise a check raise and make it 12 on the turn, amazingly a blank found the river and I took in the pot that got me winner.  hooray beer! sad the ugly man!

August 6, 2006, 8PM: Played 2 hours, Made $52.00 at partypoker.com
$2/4 Omaha

of course I got stuck 50 right out of the gates as usual, wouldn't have been me if I didn't.  but I had a few hands that pretty much play themselves with donkeys betting and raising into me.  also got lucky once or twice, but that's poker, so hopefully things are changing for me.

August 6, 2006, 2PM: Played 3 hours, 30 minutes, Broke Even at partypoker.com
$2/4 Omaha

yet another of my infamous sessions where I get stuck early.  I checked my stats after a while and had something like 42 hands played 0% winning percent.  I finally drug a few pots but ran into just the infuriating beats.  a fine example is I have top two pair and the nut flush draw on a board of K Q 6, it's lead into me by an early position player, I just call hoping to get some action behind me but it ends up heads up, the turn is the 2 that brings my flush, the donkey bets I raise he calls.  the river is a 6, he checks, I check, he rolls over Q J 6 2 for the awesome 4 outer.  I really wish a person could check specific stats on a site because I am certain I get river boated way higher than I should when I have the nut flush, it's simply outrageous.  anyway, I finally hit dead even and instantly clicked it off.
