December 29, 2009, 11PM: Played 2 hours, 8 minutes, Made $49.35 at full tilt
$1 Pot-Limit Omaha

had decided to try playing squeaky tight but aggressive, just can't do much with this hand.  I have AA97 double suited in bb, raise max preflop, get two callers, comes down K 8 6 with one of my suits as a draw, I jam it, guy has 8 8, so we get in, I just don't know how to play these hands.  I can't seem to catch in a big pot at all anymore, it's very frustrating.  I was money for over a month on here and now I can't book a win to save my life.

Wow, I am a donkey, but got hugely lucky.  Playing in a no cap game vs. a guy I had played with before and he is a donker.  I have 5 3 2 2 on my button and limp, he is in sb and pots it, one other caller so I come along.  Flop is 10 5 3, he bets 12 so I call it.  Turn is a 4.  I am putting him on a big pair here, so he bets and I shove over him for 80 bucks, I am dead on with my read, but didn't necessarily want the call, he shows AKKJ, and somehow the river is a 7 for 197 buck pot for me.

I shouldn't bitch about this after that hand, but I am playing at a smaller game with 10 buck cap, I have AAxx and flop A 4 4 and of course run into 4 4, so annoying this sort of shit.  I win the 100 there, but lose 40 on the first hand I typed up and 10 here, just can't stay in the right direction.

ugh, at the no cap table had back to back hands vs. same guy cost me a hundred while at same time won 80 worth on another table.  First one I have JJ108, with hearts, flop 10 9 5 with 2 hearts, guy had 10 9 and I couldn't get him off it...the turn is an 8 and river an A and I raised him both streets but the stubborn bastard wouldn't fold.  Then then next time I got caught up with a total wrap against him and I bricked out.  Wish I could've avoided those two hands and booked a big win, but will take what I can get.

December 29, 2009, 2PM: Played 2 hours, 51 minutes, Lost $94.00 at full tilt
$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

man, just can't seem to do much right in cash games lately.  had a few hands I really just need to change a river card and I am probably up quite a bit.  I tried to play much more conservatively this session to avoid some of the huge swings, and mostly it just seemed to slow my losing.  I don't know if I need to open up and be more aggressive or what, but this isn't working at all anymore.  I must say there seems to be a few folks that win way more than their share of pots, their stacks just seem to go nowhere but up, almost like they know what's coming or can see your hands.  I try to note them, but one clipped me for a big pot where I flop top set and he called with 8 high flush draw and gutterball, the gutterball turned which also gave me nut flush draw with my top set, was a pretty fishy feeling hand, I never would've called 6 buck bet on flop with his cards.  I am still flopping my big hands in unraised hands heads up or 3 ways with no money, but anytime there is considerable action preflop I am missing everything badly.

December 28, 2009, 10PM: Played 3 hours, 58 minutes, Lost $18.75 at full tilt
$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

got just pig stuck playing early on, had one hand with nut flush vs. two sets, get it in after turn and they find a river board pair (that I had one of in my hand as well).  Think I was down about 120, so made quite a comeback, won 2 big 3 way pots that got me back close, but still a very frustrating day overall.  can't take too many more like this one.

December 28, 2009, 6PM: Played 3 hours, 49 minutes, Made $15.47 at full tilt
$24 Buy-In Pot-Limit Omaha Tournament (299 Players)

absolute grind.  I won one pot early to go from 3k to 5k, then didn't play another pot until I had roughly 3k left and won a double up pot to get to about 8k, then again nothing other than one button call and one call in middle position with a monster hand that I luckily totally bricked while I was trying to grind down to the money.  Got lucky with 40 left (36 paid) and woke up with AAK4 and about 4k vs. KKQJ double suited and got a 4 4 7 rainbow flop.

hit the money with 9960 (1/3 average stack, where I have been all tourny) and 500/1000 blinds.

one donkey ramming a ton all tourny, I have about 5k left and 20 players, they make it 4800 to go so I am basically calling all in.  I have AKQ7, he has K J 10 10, so I don't hate my chances, flop is perfect, A J 4, turn 7, I am WAY ahead, river Q...damn the luck.  I still would've been close to last in chips had I won anyway, but obviously you would like the chance to live another day there.

December 28, 2009, 12PM: Played 2 hours, 6 minutes, Lost $177.35 at full tilt
$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

holy cow, the site obviously missed taking my money.  whatever I did it wasn't working out.  slowplay bad, fast play bad, fold I would've hit, call I miss.  had AA 3 times and repop preflop, and every time the guy flops the world's fair on me, just nothing I could do.  Really just had this we are taking your money feel to it, as I couldn't flop anything in a raised pot, but would flop the nuts heads up vs. another blind.  Tough to win when you drag 2 buck pots and lose 20 when you have something.

December 25, 2009, 3PM: Played 1 hour, 36 minutes, Made $98.95 at full tilt
$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

got off to great start, 3rd hand of session I flop top set vs. a guy with middle set and another guy with flush draw and stand up to get up 40 right away.  Then went on a screaming little 10 minute heater to get up about 140, but took two beats to same guy, first one I have KK and flop top set on K 4 3 flop, I fire right out at it and guy raises all in with 10 5 5 2 and rivers the 6 on me.  Then a bit later same guy raises on button, it's my bb, I have AAxx and repot, he shoves in over me with J 7 4 3 and flops Q 7 3.  He obviously wanted to give me some money but didn't work out.

December 24, 2009, 6PM: Played 54 minutes, Made $43.20 at full tilt
$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

this is the session I should probably stick around and keep playing as things were going pretty ok.  Pretty much a drama free victory here with no serious beats.  Got it in twice, won one I got kinda lucky on the other one I ram into a monster draw that I can't blame the guy for calling...I had a set and he had total braodway wrap nut flush draw, so for once it wasn't the naked nut flush that ran me down, but he still did find that flush on the river.  Anyway, just wanted to log a decent win and try to get some momentum going back in the right direction.

December 23, 2009, 5PM: Played 3 hours, 10 minutes, Made $29.35 at full tilt
$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

got stuck and had ground back to even.  Had one of my favorite hands where I flop top set and the guy with nut flush draw can't get it in fast enough and can't miss.  The one I couldn't wait to type up, I have AA35 double suited preflop, guy repops me, so we cap it, he shows A 2 4 6 with a baby suit that I have as well.  The flop basically crushes him...7 7 9, turn 8 river 5.... ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?

anyway, I calmed down and found a great donkey to pick on.  Had a sick 4 way pot when I flop nut flush draw two pair and turn broadway draw but couldn't come up with any of it, would've capped this session of nicely.

$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

same guy, two hands, first I have AA78 raise it pre, flop is so sweet for me, 4 5 6, guy had AJ53, yeah, I lost this pot, turn 5 river 3.  next time I have KKxx in bb, not raised pre, flop is K 6 2, he calls my pot bet on flop with 4 5 7 7 and, yes again I didn't win the pot.

December 22, 2009, 2PM: Played 2 hours, 8 minutes, Made $53.45 at full tilt
$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

started hot, but then getting it in a few times told the usual story.  3 ways I flop wrap against bottom two and other guy has overpair, board pair on river after I missed turn anyway.  Other one also 3 ways, JJ top set on J 6 5 flop, guy pots and it's repotted into me, one has KK with K high flush draw, other has A high flush draw, Q of diamonds right on turn for them.  so sick.

finally went on a decent run, had one pot I wanted to puke in but was luckily suck resuck.  on my button I have 3345 with 45 of clubs, usually wouldn't point out that trash, but was key to hand, guy from blinds raises and the whole table calls.  Flop is 3 6 8 with 3 6 of clubs, so basically the deck to my forehead.  It's bet to me so I finish it off, preflop raiser has 910JQ with J high clubs, other guy calls with 2 4 9 10 so some pukey double gutter.  The turn is the absolute worst card I have ever seen, a red 7, so I am like chirst, but somehow the 6 peels off the river filling me up and finally giving me a decent pot.  Had a couple other decent hits and put together a nice session for once.  Maybe we can rebuild a little bit.
