$3/6 Texas Hold'em
yeah...I actually played poker again...shocking isn't it...ran like crap and was down 90 and only had 10 chips left with no intention of rebuying about an hour into this session...then got fairly lucky with A9 vs 88 to get all in...catching a 9 on the flop and then just put together a couple hands...had AA stand up for a nice pot...life is good

my own ruling controversy
all right...this is a montana game which for those of you who don't know is probably a much more casual laid back affair where by custom many of the rules are generally laxed a little bit
a regular player, who I would call an angle shooter flops a flush with K3 against another player who also flops a flush with 48...the board is 5 7 x of their suit...needless to say the river brings about the 6 giving player B the straight flush. player B checks the river as does play A who instantly roles over his K high flush...player B is a bit intoxicated and is sitting next to his buddy who looks over and sees the world's fair and freaks out...holy shit you have a str.flush...JESUS!!! and then player B tables it for us all to see....player A goes into a tizzy fit about how that hand should be declared dead and you can't do that blah blah blah, but at no time did player B release the cards from his hand or did he even lean over to show his neighbor the cards. player A stood up and said he will never be back because I pushed the pot to player B.
I think the mistake here is by player B's neighbor who broke some forms of poker etiquette by freaking out like he did, but it's impossible to guess what player B would've done. I personally thought he was well aware of what he had and had gone for a check raise on the river. I don't think this instance broke a specific rule like one person to a hand because there was no advice given on how to play the hand. I think it was simply a couple drunk donkeys having fun.
anyone else want to chime in?
