May 31, 2007, 2AM: Played 4 hours, Lost $150.00 at club moderne, anaconda, MT
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

fairly sickening session...I got stuck almost 100 early on, then I recover to get 2 buck winner when I wake up with 2 red kings under the gun, I raise to 5 and get callers, the flop comes 2 3 5 all diamonds which isn't too bad I am thinking, the turn is a 6 which isn't my favorite card, but I lead out at it hoping everyone was on big cards or flush draws and get 1 caller, river brick 10, I check he does too, I am assuming this means I am good until he shows me 2 6 off for 2 pair.  I proceed to miss for the next 2 hours before finally just giving up on playing good to try and get into big pots with this donkey, unfortunately he wins huge pots with 4 8 off, 3 9 off (capped preflop on that one), etc.  so I tube off my 150 and he quits up 200.  what's worse is he gets pushed several 50 60 70 buck pots and isn't a tipper, so my buddies dealing get the shaft as well.  what can you do when the worst player ever is on the heat?

May 26, 2007, 2PM: Played 3 hours, Made $27.00 at lucky lil's butte
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

I simply couldn't take the 3 handed bullshit game that was going anymore so I got in and tried to force someone to go broke so I could go home, it didn't work out very well as you can see it took 3 hours, but I got to pump up my coworker and beat them for a little at least

May 24, 2007, 10PM: Played 3 hours, Lost $50.00 at club moderne, anaconda MT
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

just one of those sessions...I had a couple bad beats against the donkey of the table, he couldn't beat anybody except me and then would splash those chips off in record speed after stacking them from me...I was stuck about 15 bucks then took AQ against his 36 and flopped AQ3, after he sucked out I stood up and called it good.

May 17, 2007, 2AM: Played 3 hours, Made $55.00 at club modern, anaconda, MT
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

the perfect amount for me to win in this session because I took my wife out for a nice dinner before going to play and spent 55 on that.

wasn't much to report in this session, had KK one time and it stood up, that was it for premium hands.  the one hand that was great then really sucked then was great again was the following, I have 10 7 of clubs in the bb and after a couple of limpers the button raises so I come along for both the pot odds and also because his hand really doesn't scare me...I hit the absolute yahtzee flop, 8 9 J with 2 clubs.  I check raise here because I know the field will chase with a rag Q and that is exactly what happens as the donkey in the bb can't fold AQ in this spot and his miracle 10 peels right off on the turn.  I call disgustedly and we get heads up, thank the poker gods I catch the 5 of clubs on the turn, but after I raise the guy 3 bets me back...Q X of clubs? nooooo! but he was just a donkey and rolls over AQ and I took down the pot that pretty much consisted of all my gravy for the night.

May 13, 2007, 7AM: Played 30 minutes, Lost $10.00 at lucky lils butte
$10 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (4th out of 8 Players)

didn't do so hot in this freezeout.  I never won a hand early that really had any chips in it so with the structure we use (doubling blinds every time a players busts) I was already fairly short.  I woke up with AK and 71 chips left with 8 16 blinds and ran into AK suited, he flopped a flush draw and nailed it on the turn to end my tourny.

I had a chance to get chipped up early but I couldn't see how I could make the call..I have AT suited and limp behind 2 other limpers, the next guy in line makes it 7 and another shoves in, the first raiser calls after the field folds and rolls over KT suited and the all pushed shows QT off.  flop comes A high rainbow and KT takes it down and goes on to win the thing.  I guess it's only for 10 bucks and all, but c'mon that's pretty bad.

May 13, 2007, 4AM: Played 5 hours, Made $59.00 at lucky lils butte
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

is actually a win of 118, but I was chopping with the other dealer and only posting my bankroll increase

was a shitty 3 6 game that everyone decided to go no limit on.  I came on pretty strong to get this win as I didn't have much in terms of hands, but bluffed a couple of key pots and didn't go broke early on the couple of times I could've.  I was very happy in that I got back to my tight aggressive style, my last several sessions have been very loose passive which has gotten me into some huge swings.  hopefully I can continue with that.

May 12, 2007, 5AM: Played 1 hour, Made $30.00 at lucky lil's butte, MT
$10 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 7 Players)

was just a quick freezeout before the game got going to keep the couple of players from getting bored and taking off.  was pretty hard to not win they all play so fuckin bad.  I could've easily won but when it got heads up we chopped 40/30 despite me having a 5-2 chip lead, but what the hell.

May 9, 2007, 1AM: Played 4 hours, Lost $290.00 at cat's paw bozeman, MT
$4/8

was a frustrating session that I can blame on some really poor preflop play by myself and some really bad running on the river when I did find myself in the lead.  I had several winners on the turn that I couldn't get to stand up.  It was a rammer jammer game that was 10 or 14 preflop most of the time and while my standards were loose pre, I felt I played well on after the flop.  Was just one of those sessions where I couldn't get a set to stand or where I couldn't get my made hand to stand up against a set.  I really need to work on tightening up as the last several times I have played I am in WAY too many pots.

May 5, 2007, 12AM: Played 3 hours, 30 minutes, Lost $60.00 at club moderne, Anaconda MT
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

kind of a frustrating session in that I had a couple big hands go down to total trash, like KK against 29 suited and while this isn't a big hand, I had 3 5 suited in bb and flop flush draw, turn flush and lose to full house of J 2 off that some donkey called with in middle position.  the worst of the night was JJ on the button, raise with 5 callers, flop A J 8, two clubs, I bet and get 3 callers, turn K, bet 2 callers, I literally say here comes the Q of clubs, and guess what hits, one guy had KT for broadway and another has 9 T for the same.  that pot would've had me even.  oh well, I never lost my cool so that was good enough.

May 2, 2007, 3AM: Played 4 hours, Lost $85.00 at cat's paw, bozeman, MT
$1-5 Spread-Limit Texas Hold'em

was just a fuck around session, I was playing pretty much every hand because there were like 4 drunken idiots that would play everything and the blind was a single 1 dollar type of deal.  was nice to get out and good off with my buddies.
