July 29, 2006, 10PM: Played 2 hours, 30 minutes, Lost $310.00 at BD's (OTC)
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Ok, I am not as mad as I was last night.  I am over it now.  Basically, one man took 250 of my chips.  Trust me I was counting.  He was old, didnt know how to play very well, couldn't see the cards, and slowed the game way down.  I still proceeded to have the best hand going in several times, and every time he was in a hand with me, he would draw to a less then 20% hand, and get.  Yes, he even it a 1 outer on the river with wired threes.  That was the hand that busted me.  The irony behind it was that every time he was in another hand and won, he at least turned over a legit hand with a draw or something.  Then to top it all off, another donkey wanted to see my hand after I had just got raped on the river.  He wasn't trying to needle me, he was just that dumb and had a big smile on his face, thinking "duhhhhh, what did Daryl get beat with, that doesnt happen very often".  Fricken moron.  Then......another DONKEY comes up to me while I am doing my paper work and has the oddacity to tell me that that will be a hand you will be telling people for months.  I told him I would not tell another soul, and I would forget about it the next week....but thanks for the consolation.  Man, I haven't been that upset in a while, it just gets old, when you are getting back into the swing of things and your are playing well and you can't beat the donkeys.

The only legit hand that I won (decent pot).  Is when I decided to test the waters and raise before the flop in the dark.  I bet on the flop and someone raises me.  I look at one and see a J, top pair.  So I just call, look at my other card, 10.  So I just call and spike a ten on the river to beat J4, two pair on the flop.  Even when I don't look and raise, I still get out flopped and I have to catch on the river.

I yah, I forgot to tell you that I got two bet on the turn(16) and the one outer donkey cold call with wired 3's, that just made it worse.

Ok, I am over it....will take a break for at least a week and just work.  Thanks for listening....bitch session over!

July 29, 2006, 2PM: Played 1 hour, Lost $34.00 at BD's (OTC)
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Got the game going.  Played ok, except limping with two middle of the road hands.  Over played JJ and my other premiums did not hold up.  I think if I played a bit better I would be close to even.  Still played ok though.

On the clock entries

I have been thinking about starting a new user name for my OTC entries.  I find myself playing different, and I should figure out how much I am winning and losing while on and off the clock.  Does anyone have any opinions on this?

July 28, 2006, 10PM: Played 35 minutes, Lost $60.00 at BD's (OTC)
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Played premiums, was in no situations to steal.  Game got big and my hands did not hold up.  I have to give my seat up, so Donked off last 15 with Aj, missed everything.  Another day......I owed a co-worker one, or I would have probably not played, so close to the end of the shift, and I don't like to play that late so I don't get strapped in to keeping a gam going all night.

July 25, 2006, 5PM: Played 1 hour, Lost $100.00 at Big Daddy's
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Was dinking around with Craig.  Had some xtra vacation money.  Played well until the end.  Got caught up in a lot of drawing hands, and my premiums got no action.  I played in the dark with my last 20 and ran it up a bit.  Loosened up the game for all the friendly faces.  Gotta go back to work now.  No more screwing off!

July 25, 2006, 12PM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes, Lost $23.00 at Big Daddy's
$20 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (6th out of 35 Players)

One out of the money, was getting blinded off and just lost a race.  Was card dead most of the tournament....I can't believe I did that well.  Played solid poker the whole way, stole the blinds to keep me alive and of course had to roll over 34 suited.  HEHE

Trip to WYO

Hi everyone! I am off to Wyoming today.  I will be out of the loop for a week.  I think Wyoming has 5 total computers! Anywhos, good luck to everyone while I am gone.  And especially, good luck to my boys down at the Series!

July 11, 2006, 12PM: Played 1 hour, Lost $23.00 at Big Daddy's
$20 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (16th out of 30 Players)

Made one major bad read that I gave my opponent way too much respect.  That crippled me, but got my chips back later.  I got into a couple of races at the end and lost.  Oh well, still played ok for the situation.
