February 27, 2007, 4PM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes, Lost $82.00 at Big Daddy's
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Started off the day right by hitting a high hand, then could no bite on anything after.  Burned through all of that plus 80.  Had a couple of loosies in the game that caught several times.  Oh well, will get em next time.

February 27, 2007, 12PM: Played 45 minutes, Lost $23.00 at Big Daddy's
$20 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (25th out of 40 Players)

Not much going on today...kept getting ace rag and bad position, tried to steal a pot , that didn't work.  Slow played aces UTG and got no raise from the whole field.  Someone caught a queen on the and wouldn't go away after my big bet on the flop.  Q5 off is gooooood.

February 26, 2007, 6PM: Played 40 minutes, Lost $23.00 at Big Daddy's
$20 Buy-In No-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Tournament (7th out of 12 Players)

The usual Monday, go play the tournament, and help the company get an Omaha game going.  Didn't ever get the live game going, Jesse we could have used you.  Not enough players in Spokane that want to drive, and a lot of the players at other places would not last in our casino because of strict policies.

Anywho's....wasn't catching much in the tournament, just sitting back and watching.  I finally got a hand and played it after someone raised pre.  We had another all-in, and of course he bets it on the flop with like second pair and no low draw.  Ugh....yes he was a newbie, and I will tell you why.  The next had the board ends up to be 266J8, no suit.  I ended up all in with the second nut low (A4) and jacks with an ace for high.  The SAME guy had three way action on the side besides me and CHECKED IT DOWN, with AA3x.  No one was betting and he was on the button.  If I have that hand, it would be a pumpfest.  So, that was my exit, and my horse busted out right after me.

To my suprise, I have a meeting tomorrow morning and I will get to play the daily and live game for a bit.

February 24, 2007, 2PM: Played 1 hour, 40 minutes, Made $579.00 at Northern Quest Casino
$10/20 Texas Hold'em

I jumped into the game and really had a good mindset. JESSE was somewhat concerned that I needed to blow off some steam, but I was feeling fine.  I really wasn't upset about the tournament as I went in with the best hand every time I played.  I played my hands correctly and still could not control the outcome.  So I assured him that I was fine, and I had been itching to play a bigger game for some time now.

The game had a kill on it that went to 15-25 after a 150 dollar hogger.  This is the highest they can go because of commission policies.  So, I bought in 4 stacks and got busy.

The first hand I played I put a phat bluff on the pot and took it down.  I got tangled with mtcarddealer in a hand.  He flopped top two, and I took the cheap one off for the gut shot and nailed it.  After that I went on a good tear.  I had profiled several players already, knowing two of them really well and using that to my advantage as one of them was a calling station and the other an aggressive preflop raiser that you could get info from on the flop by raising him.

I bluffed with 10J once, that felt goooooooooooood! Stayed steady and really only lost 2 decent sized pots.  One to the calling station, and another when I had wired J's.  Mtcarddealer had AA and we both got snapped by wired three's.  There was a newbie at the table that asked if I flopped a set, but knew I was beat.  I wanted to slap him in the face....but I didn't, just took most of his chips on several pots.

It also was a good opportunity to promote the POKER CRUISE and the online poker log as I handed out several cards with info.

All in all, I made my buy in back, plus some juice, so it did not turn out all bad.

February 24, 2007, 12PM: Played 1 hour, 20 minutes, Lost $425.00 at Northern Quest Casino
$400 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (162nd out of 200 Players)

This was the Best of the West tournament that World Poker Solutions is sponsering.  We are giving away a poker cruise for the bubble (21st place).  They really had a great set-up, the production crew was on point, and it was a well ran tournament.  Unfortunatly, Jesse and I both got knocked out early and it was very frustrating.

It really should have been called biggest crap shoot in the west, the blinds went up way too fast and the starting chips were way too small.

My first hand I raise on the button with KQ, get a caller out of the small blind who would end up beating me with Q6 hitting two pair.  Could not believe he made the call pre, but this happens a lot in tournaments, where people think they have more chips than they really do.

Then, JJ gets snapped off by an Ace on the turn, lucky enough I played it smart enough to not get trapped.

I had 250 points left and ran that up to 1600, but I could not get away from the fast moving blind structure.  So, I move with 88 and BB calls with J4.  Flop K104 turn Q river 9...bye bye.

Fortunately for us, we have another friend still in the tournament that made the top 80.  He will be sporting our logo on his ha, and I think I can persuade a couple more people at the final table to where a hat too.  It was definitly a learning experience and we should get some good TV coverage for the company.

February 19, 2007, 11PM: Made $45.00 at Big Daddy's
Bonus

Had half of Deiyuo's action to give me some juice in the Omaha tournament.  He should have won the damn thing, but Frosty got lucky!

February 19, 2007, 7PM: Played 2 hours, 30 minutes, Made $17.00 at Big Daddy's
$4/8 Omaha Hi-Lo

Have been trying to get this game going at the casino on Monday nights.  Deiyuo was there to help out.  We just played and had a good time.  Action wasn't too crazy, and the game was good for the 2.5 hours that we had it.  We just need to stick to it and it will get more consistant.

February 19, 2007, 6PM: Played 1 hour, Lost $23.00 at Big Daddy's
$20 Buy-In No-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Tournament (5th out of 14 Players)

Played pretty good...got a little pushy when short stacked at final table.  Ended up donking my chips off to Deiyuo so he could have a good chip stack.  Plus I had some of his action and we both did not have a lot of chips.  Worked out good for both of us.
