Palm Springs and LA

Well, cant sleep like normal before a trip.  My flight is at six am, so I think I will go play cards till the flight. 
 
Nate and I are playing in a celebrity charity poker tournament on Sunday.  The company is giving away a cruise package, so it should be fun to mingle.
 
We might drink a bit too!

July 24, 2007, 8PM: Played 1 hour, 45 minutes, Lost $200.00 at Big Daddy's
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Did not catch a hand till I was down to 20 bucks....just a battle...not flopping anything.  So I got a little goofy with the regulars and played some dark hands to blow off the rest.  I caught a couple of hands and kept goofing around.  It was fun, but would have like to win a pot every now and then.

$150 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (22nd out of 45 Players)

Wasn't really paying attention here, waiting for Nate in the main event, networking with people, and just doing the usuall.  Busted out back to back, JJ...QQ, both times up against KK.  Got some good pics though.

$500 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (43rd out of 105 Players)

Big hit to the ole OPL numbers, but I am pretty sure I can right this off as it was a benefit/charity tournament.  If I can, I will add it as a bonus.  Nate and I had lots of fun mingling with the celebs and certain pros.  Played well, just got pushy in the small blind.

I actually was ahead, but was going halves with Deiyou.  Just having fun and winding down the evening.  I was up he was down, then vice versa and back again.  It could have went either way though.

July 2, 2007, 1AM: Played 3 hours, Lost $20.00 at Lilac Lanes
$2-$10 Spread-Limit Texas Hold'em

Long session....pretty toastie.  Played the way I normally do at Lilac....was up about 200 at one point, but just wasting time.  Had a few people on the edge of there chairs.....one of our regulars, who is about to get kicked out came in, and he didnt even know it was me.  I got in his face right off the bat and put him in his place. It was fun as normal.

Had to work a floor shift while the bosses are away.  Was in 300, battled back and played solid, but semi loose poker.
