January 29, 2007, 7PM: Played 3 hours, Made $15.00 at Big Daddy's
$4/8 Omaha Hi-Lo

Well we finally did it.  We got the Omaha game going.  Hopefully this will be a start of things to come for Monday sessions.  We gained several new players that don't normally come to our casino by word of mouth, and me going to casinos and spreading the word a bit (tactfully of course).  Monday is a good day to do this because nobody else is spreading it.  Oh, and I won a bit.  The game was pretty decent....not too crazy.  I controled most of the pace with my raising pre...which is fine by me!

January 29, 2007, 12PM: Played 1 hour, 9 minutes, Lost $23.00 at Big Daddy's
$20 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (7th out of 34 Players)

Started out getting crippled very early.  So I was down to 500 and the blinds were 50-100.  I quadrupled up on K10 and then started to steamrole a bit and make some strong moves.  At the final table I lost two crucial hands that kept me from gettting in the money.  AJ against A10, 10 coming on river.  The hand that knocked me out was 98 verses 83......3 spikes on the river to knock me out.

It was a good tournament all in all for me, I learned a bit more about playing short stacked.

January 28, 2007, 6PM: Played 1 hour, Lost $23.00 at Big Daddy's
$20 Buy-In No-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Tournament (5th out of 14 Players)

This is a fun little tournament.  A LOT of newbies that did not know how to play...which makes it easier for me.  I hope this tournament grows in popularity as Omaha is right now in Spokane.

I went out on a hand that I was about 38% favorite to hog it on the river.  I pushed and got called...I missed.

January 28, 2007, 2PM: Played 1 hour, Lost $99.00 at Big Daddy's
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Played for an hour to help get the game going.  I was not hitting today, and it was hard to make moves on some of the players in the game.  I had a lot of premiums, just nothing held up.

January 27, 2007, 11PM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes, Made $75.00 at Lilac Lanes
$2-$10 Spread-Limit Texas Hold'em

From the get go I was freerolling from a quick session of BJ.  So, I actually set out to pomote our Omaha game and get some players for monday.  Same ole story again.....get them loosened up and playing in the dark, and then tighten up.

I really pissed off this mouthy guy that thought he knew everything.  Soooo....I played in the dark and roled over a set on his ass and busted him.

Once again I was the star of the table.....maybe I need more attention or something!

Oh, and I made another nice BJ hit again last night.  Just playing it smart and not getting in too deep!

January 24, 2007, 3AM: Played 30 minutes, Made $71.00 at Ringo's
$3/6 Omaha Hi-Lo

I jumped back into the Omaha game and sat down to some monsters.  I tried to get Deiyuo pumped up, but he was just running too bad to get on a role.  Plus it was getting late and I had to work in the morning!

January 24, 2007, 1AM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes, Made $220.00 at Ringo's
$2-$6 Spread-Limit Texas Hold'em

So, I get to the table, and everyone is playing pretty cautious.  TIME TO FIRE THE GAME UP! This was a 2-6 with a kill, two pots in a row for a kill.  So, I went into crazy raisy mode and got everyone fired up.  I would go twelve in the dark when it was a kill and got 95 to hold up flopping a set.  I had many people pissed at me, which just feeds my energy at the poitn even more.  I live to piss off the table in that mode.  They just hand you the chips when you get good hands.

I talked to a buddy the next day and he said they were talking about me for quite a while.

It is really amazing that I can use this strategy in a holdem game, I just have to suck out once, or play rag hands like 2-4 and hit two pair, and everyone gets rattled.

They ask, "why did you play that shit?" And then I tell them, "HEY, get it straight, I raised preflop with that shit, give me some credit".  For some reason that gets people all hot and bothered.  Then, I just sit back and enjoy the riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide!

January 24, 2007, 12AM: Played 45 minutes, Made $112.00 at Ringo's
$2-$6 Spread-Limit Texas Hold'em

I sat down with 40 in a short handed game just to screw around a bit with an old poker pal I hadn't seen in ages.  I played solid and ran it up, then go to move up to the main table.

January 23, 2007, 8PM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes, Made $202.00 at Ringo's
$3/6 Omaha Hi-Lo

This was a good start to the night.  It was a kill game with lots of action as usual.  I only bought in a rack to see if it would influence my play a bit more.  I lost a couple of hands, just missing the flop.  Then, before Deiyuo got to my table, I made a big hand hold up with top two hitting a boat and holding up with no low.

The other pot, and only other pot I won, I looked down at A3 of clubs and that is all I looked at.  Flop comes 10 7 2, two clubs on the board.  So I have the nut low nut flush draw with just those two cards.  I was pumping it the whole way and getting several callers.  The turn card was a K of clubs, which was perfect, because it kept all the low draws in.  And then the miracle card, 9 of clubs for a hogger on the river.

i decided to call a buddy and go have some drinks, because I really didn't feel like butting heads with Jesse who was running bad.
